What a delightful find. Really good home style goods prepared with love. Nice to look at, delicious and fairly priced. I will be back often to try more wonderful things.

This really is a top notch bakery - we love it :-) The staff are super friendly and always recognize repeat customers.... The bread is some of the best we've had in the US and the cakes are (a little too!) delicious!!! :-) Lunch is all freshly made and we can't remember getting anything here we didn't like! We are... I love the almond croissant here. They are so fresh and fluffy. I visit here every time I come to Siesta Key. If you want fresh pastries..... come here!

Best bagels in town (yes, really fresh) and wonderful croissants. Bought a few of Jim's frozen French loafs . . .I defrosted them and was so impressed by the aroma and texture. Super friendly and helpful customer service. A regular stop for me on Saturday mornings - who needs Paneras and Einsteins?

My husband & I have been there twice in one week. We tried the ciabatta bread and pastries the first visit and knew we were hooked. The bread specials change daily. Today we went for lunch. My husband had the BLT on a ciabatta roll and it was the best ever. I "thought" I wouldn't like the BLT but I... More

Love places where there is so much pride put into one's craft. So many good things baked fresh every day. We visit Siesta Key 2x/year and can always count on Jim's goodies. One of the best bakeries I've been to outside Europe. Keep up the hard work!

What a treat to find Jim's, hidden away as it is in this older part of Sarasota. We loved the fresh baked ciabatta this year and the olive bread we had last year. This year's treats included a unique candied-bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich on the ciabatta, ham and brie on a baguette, a key lime crumb cake, tosca (a... More

BEST BREAD IN SARASOTA! Everytime we get the "daily bread" which changes daily - it is warm and wonderful. I'll stop in and have the brie sandwhich and one of the tasty dessert morsels. This is a tiny little wonderful hole in the wall in Gulf Gate. It is a must try.

We visited 3 times in one week! Jim was working the counter and later remembered us on our return visits. He offered the kids samples of freshly baked cookies. We tried many of his desserts... highly recommend the meyer lemon tart and chocolate croissants, but everything from the muffins to cakes were excellent. If you get a chance, stop in... More

Stopped here for some breakfast treats while staying on Siesta Key. The desserts were excellent, the coffee- not so much. If you're looking for some tasty treats, stop here!
