This old fashioned, family owned coffee and ice cream shop is located in Captain Curt's Village a few hundred yards south of the Stickney point (south bridge). It is beside the bike and kayak rental shop. They are super friendly and have a gourmet coffee bar, fresh baked goods and 26 flavors of hand churned, homemade ice cream. It is my favorite local coffee shop! I've never left disappointed.

I scream, you scream, we all scream for Orange Octopus Ice Cream!

Was it two or three trips here in 4 nights? I can't recall, but I do recall that the ice cream was superior to most. Very smooth, rich, creamy. We live in Ohio which is Graeter's and Jeni's country, but the product doled out by the OO staff was really excellent. Yes, the Snickers tasted like... read more

After a day at the beach our family headed over to get ice cream. We are definitely Icecream lovers! This shop was close and reasonably priced for the amount you get in a scoop. Very friendly, helpful lady serving as well. We went twice and we all tried different flavors each time.the highlight flavors were sea salt caramel praline and... More

Stopped here for ice cream as it was just down the road from our condo. Nice little spot with ice cream.

Initially arrived when the shop was closed but our curiosity to take a closer look at the historic black and white pictures hanging on the wall brought us back and we were quite glad we did come back. Had a very nice conversation about the shop's setting, historical background, and the work that goes into their ice cream recipes. Truly... More

We are visiting Siesta Key for the first time with family. Found this cute beachy place near our condo. The nice woman said their ice creAm is made in the back room from scratch. We love ice cream and this is by far the best we've ever had!!! We had a big group and they serviced us quickly and gave... More

Delicious ice cream, and fabulous service! They were extremely friendly and it's such an adorable place. There are several cute shops in this little village to check out as well.

This is a great little place to get hand-scooped ice cream. The young man waiting on us was so patient while we tried a few flavors. The pumpkin had a true pumpkin flavor, with nuts in it. No reason to go anywhere else!

Orange Octopus is still fabulous ice cream shop with excellent service! However, what a huge disappointment to find out they are no longer carrying the scrumptious Amish pastries! Along with many others, this was our very favorite daily breakfast spot for coffee and a treat. We hope you'll consider bringing those back so we can put you back on our... More
