I don't know what the other reviewers are used to, but to come out with a check for 50 dollars in 25 minutes and still feel hungry is not my idea of a good restaurant.
Arriving for our second visit to The Greek Taverna, we were sure the food would not even come close to being as good as we remembered it from our first visit. We had built up our memory of the food so much that we thought we would be disappointed. We were not. Our second visit was as amazing as our... More
The staff and owner are great. The food is wonderful. It's so un-assuming from the outside but clean comfortable and homey on the inside. We all enjoyed our dinners and the chatting with George. But the desserts.... oh the desserts... save room.
My favorite Greek restaurant and I eat a lot of Greek both in the US and Greece. Lamb Shank is mild but very tasty. Burogelactico is a great custard desert. Good selection of fresh made Greek. Not just another Gyro place.
We visited Teverna for the first time yesterday, and were very pleased! This restaurant is truly a hidden gem. The owner - George, makes the experience even more memorable. Do yourself a favor, and give this best a chance. One of the best meals we've ever had!

I had the lemon chicken soup and my husband the soup of the day, a vegetarian white bean. Both very good. The gyro... More

The tzatziki sauce although tasty was very overpowering. The greek salad came with shredded lettuce and too much dressing. The calamari was done well and... More
Everything was really greasy or full of oil. When my husband finished his salad he had 1/4 inch of oil under his Greek salad. This has been the only negative feed back I've ever given on trip advisor.😞
