Oh my the quiche!

One of the local business people recommended the cafe for lunch. We weren't sure we were in the right place because it looks very laid back as you enter but the food was lovely! The quiche tasted like ones I had eaten in France: very light and custardy and delicious. Also liked very much a salad... read more

Best apple tart I have ever had. Great atmosphere. I will definitely be coming back to the Burns Street Cafe when I again visit Sarasota.

This place is very nice. We had lunch there one day, and it was very good. Last night, we went to listen to jazz (the Jim Lemli quartet), and had a wonderful beet, goat cheese, and walnut salad. And what a wine list! The owner is friendly and gracious. It reminded me of a real jazz club in NYC....

I love this little cafe tucked away in Burns Court. In season it is always packed. Out of season I actually get a place to sit. They have music from jazz to salsa in their bar area and the food is very good with a great wine selection. The owner is always around and makes sure his customers are taken... More

This is a really neat place, a kind of place you will find in Greenwich Village NY, But Better. The food is very good But a little different than the norm for the area, again it's very good. Great Entertainment, Friendly and helpful wait staff and a good wine list

Had lunch there after some area shopping. Very nice and friendly when we were there on a week day. Do yourself a favor and go when things are slow, look around the place and try the quiche, ( we should have! and will be back to do so). Great location to chat with the staff and patrons while enjoying a... More

Arieh is fun, entertaining and loves to talk with patrons. His food is great and has a very exotic flair. He knows his wines also ! Make sure to stop in and try a bite with a glass of wine and make a new friend while you are there. I will definitely go back. See you in Nov,. Arieh!

The food was excellent. The atmosphere is delightful. The process of ordering and being correctly charged was not and I advise future diners to be wary. When presented with the total when ordering at the counter, it felt a few dollars too high. The woman at the counter indicated that she entered in the code to the register for what... More

love the food, the atmosphere can be noisy but nice for a casual place. Great jazz is played and sometimes live music. the space has been enlarged to include a wine bar. the owners are delightful- Israeli and French. I highly recommend for a casual place.
