Excellent food and service

Fresh quality ingredients equals quality, delicious food. Nothing fancy but incredible focaccia bread, pizza , pasta and cannoli. I'm had the California pizza with artichokes, fresh basil and other veggies. The location isn't great but the tasty food and charming service makes up for that.

When your craving a pizza, your gonna want a good pizza. I received the total opposite of a good pizza. The waiter asked us if it was our first time there, and it was, and maybe just to think they would make a good first impression was wrong. It took long enough for someone to come to us. I understand... More

I would first like to thank you for this review, it gives General Managers and owners a chance to address all patrons that find a "bad" experience at a resturant that normally has great food and service. I do apologize, I should of been clear when I came to you table. My name is Dave and I was the GM... More

So you have to meet Amine (Tony) and owner/winemaker Dave. They were resposible for a great evening with delicious pizza, an excellent tiramasu (I'm sure Dave has an Italian grandma back in the kitchen. His award winning Goodfellas Amarone was the perfect wine to go with the relaxing atmosphere. If you want love both in your food and service, Goodfellas... More

It was great fun returning to Goodfellas in Sarasota FL this week. Pizza was fantastic - light delicious crust and generous portions of all toppings we selected. Friendly helpful wait staff make it so enjoyable. Can't wait to keep introducing folks to this family friendly place. We will be back in August.

We'd been to Goodfellas a few times before and really liked it. This time---not so much. We're wondering if the chef was away that day because the pizzas that we ordered were sub par. We had the small Quatro Frommagio pizza and a small basic cheese and red sauce pizza. We were disappointed with both. They lacked flavor, the crusts... More

Love the atmosphere, very mild and open. Good view of all the wine that they make in house. Had the chicken parm, was perfect. Server said they make their own sauce daily as well, disallowing the tomatoes to ferment and become acidic. I had no acid reflux issues, and I was happy about that! Tried black cherry cabernet and the... More

Try the wine at the Goodfellas Cafe. I had to buy a bottle to take home to Pennsylvania. Service is very friendly. Small cozy restaurant in Sarasota, FL with great pizza. Nothing fancy, but good home style Italian cooking.

This is the only place I will go for pizza. If you like a really thin crust like I do, then this is the place. There are numerous verities to choose from and the service is always good. I like the salads too as one can choose from different flavored oils and vinegars.
