I went there with my family on a Sunday evening. The place was almost empty, so we were told to sit anywhere we liked. We ordered the Bruschetta which was excellent and 3 small pizzas. We tried the tomato and cheese, Boston and California pizzas. All were well cooked and delicious. Definitely worth stopping in if you're nearby.

As soon as we walked in we knew the food would be good just by the smell. The bruschetta was so good. Lots of fresh basil and garlic. The pizza was made with fresh ingredients and really good pizza dough. Linda, our waitress was so friendly and so excited about the food, from the homemade pasta, sauces, desserts and great... More

Thanks to the reviews, we stopped here for lunch on our way to Siesta Key and we were beyond satisfied. The other reviews are spot on. Fresh ingredients, thin crust, authentic and delicious. The Boston Special with pepperoni, sausage (delish), mushrooms and extra cheese was scrumptious. The canolli was homemade and a perfect ending to a wonderful meal. Linda, our... More

From the moment you walk into the restaurant/deli with a great greeting to the excellent service provided by Linda to the great meal why would you go anywhere else. We meet another couple there for lunch upon their recommendation. Wow good choice. The service by Linda was excellent. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and offered great suggestions. She... Goodfellas is on Clark Road, a few miles away from the beach, but very much worth the short drive. Great thin crust pizzas with high quality toppings. A selection of olive oils and balsamic vinegars for your salad, very nice. Great service. Wine is very reasonably priced, it is homemade with a selection of different grapes for both red and... More

Just had lunch at Goodfellas. Found the restaurant from reading all the great yelp reviews. It was a very quaint restaurant and the service was great. Felt very pampered. The owner and his wife were very friendly. The service was fantastic . The pizza was yummy. The portions were huge with lots of Togo containers. The prices were reasonable. Thanks... More

I am excited we finally got to try this place tonight. I drive by it all the time. There was 4 of us and we enjoyed a large prosciutto pizza and an order of ravioli. To be honest I barely noticed the ravioli because the pizza was so good! The crust was thin and fresh tasting. We also had a... More

First the good: the food was delicious, although I have a strange complaint about one of the pizzas. One of the pizzas had 4 toppings on it, and the crust was so thin, it was hard to pick up the slices without everything sliding off. The bad: we made the mistake of getting the pizza and wine deal. The wine... More

Not a local Sarasotian - but a local New Yorker, and we (my family) have enjoyed Sarasota in the summer and during the winter holidays over the past few years. Have to say Goodfellas is fantastic! Every meal has been a good one, from the Four Cheese Pizza, to the Lobster Ravioli, to their Panini's. My young daughter loves the... More

First time visitor. Meatballs okay. Sub bread absolutely terrible. Server suggested maybe because it was frozen. Whatever. If you can't get bread right in an Italian restaurant a two star is deserved. Fountain soda $3. Whoa. Pleasant server.
