Saw the positive reviews and thought we would give it a try...sure glad we did. The seafood linguine was some of the best I've ever had. All the shell fish were perfectly cooked along w the other seafood and delicious pasta. They are moving to the next street in a few months, probably for more room as this location is... More

We have been visiting Sarasota once a year for about 10 years. Decided to venture out to somewhere we've never been, saw a review on Tripadvisor, and ended up at Dolci Italia. Sauce, pasta and meat was all delicious. Enjoyed talking with owners who are originally from Ischia, an island off coast of Naples, Italy. Food was very authentic. Very... More

Filippo & Tiziana, owners, once again presented a wonderful meal. We enjoyed Lamb Shank, Seafood w linguine, Eggplant w pasta & Risotto w sausage. Each dish was perfection. Filippo was entertaing and very attentive. Try the chianti classico for a wine. They are moving in Oct over one block--look for their announcement. Try it-you will never be disappointed.

One of the best little Italian restaurants I've ever visited! We have been visiting Siesta Key each year for about 10 years now and last year we decided (ok, I decided) to try a new restaurant each day instead of the ones we usually eat at every year. Most of my choices were not the best, and after a horrible... More

Absolutely wonderful. Eating here will ruin all your other favorite Italian restaurants. We went early at 5pm not busy or loud. It was a first date dinner date - it was perfect - she loved it!

We were celebrating a birthday and as we had kids with us we plumped for Italian. This restaurant came up as very good and nearby Good thing we booked - it is quite small. The restaurant is family run and the food carefully made to order The food is well executed but compared to what we were used to a... More

Home made pasta. Family run and they do it well. Everything made to order with consideration for diet needs. Best quality ingredients and it shows in the taste. Small place. Should make a reservation

I have lived in Sarasota for nine years and have dined at so many of the city's good Italian restaurants. I am also the product of Italian-born parents, and so I can be very picky regarding Italian food. We had a party of 6 last night, and we were all very impressed. This is the real deal. Filippo and Tiziana... More
