A warm welcome to Dolce Italia, celebrating our fourth anniversary. Four years ago we opened with the dream of creating a little gathering place to enjoy good food and good company. You have helped us realize our dream, and we wish to thank you by providing our very best hospitality, ambiance and flavor. We came here from Ischia, Italy to share our passion for creating wholesome Italian Cuisine from our own family traditions. In return, you made us feel like a part of a big happy family here, so we don't miss our Ischia so much. My father created the sculpture of the enchanted Castle Aragonese on our wall to remind us of the beautiful place we were born and raised. Over the last four years, our dreams have come true. We remember each of our customers with fondness, we enjoy every evening that you spend with us, and we feel very lucky to have such a wonderful family of patrons. We decided to go to this restaurant because of the great reviews on tripadvisor. It worked out but wasn't as wonderful as I had hoped. It's small, with maybe 10 or 12 tables. Service was good. I had read the menu and wine list online before we went there, and was not happy at the prices of bottles of wine.... More

This is a neighborhood "right around the corner" kind of restaurant that seemed to cater to the tastes of a tiny local niche. It should have been a tip-off when our cab driver said "where?... I've never heard of that". In a general sense, I found the food to be way overrated. Not a cliche, but the sauce literally tasted... More

Living in the area we been there several times. The food, ambiance and service are outstanding. The owner and his wife (the chef) are always there and eager to see that each and every guest has an outstanding dining experience.

I found the food and menu to be good, but that there are other Italian restaurants in the price range or maybe even a little more expensive that I prefer. The service was fine.

Seven of us eat out together every Tuesday--sort of a "boys night out.". A visit to Dolce Italia was not judged good enough for a return. Several of us had a chicken dish and it was dry. Others liked the veal. I had asked for the lemon sauce from the chicken dish to be served over the side of pasta.... More

The specials are all very good. Most of the Pasta dishes have too much cheese in the red sauces. Overall its very good, but a little pricey for the genre.

My wife and I had dinner here tonight. Reasonable bottle of cabernet (31) from Italy, appetizer of burrata (?) - really nice cheeses. Main courses of lamb meatball with papardelle, while I had Trenne Dolce Italia. Both were outstanding. The latter was really rich and filling. The former was very flavorful, both the lamb meatball and the pasta. Limencello cake... More

Our 4th visit. Always a great meal! We drive 25 min. to get there. Greeted by the owner as we walked in and his wife at the end. Fantastic Italian food!!! Beautiful new location. Well done with the décor! Small venue, so you must have reservations. May be tough to get in "in season". Call ahead!!! Lucky you if you... More
