One of the most popular spots in downtown Sarasota, and deservedly so. It gets very busy in the evenings, so make a reservation. All the seafood is very fresh, well prepared, and the service excellent. If possible avoid tables in the room with the bar, as it's very noisy.

Freshest fish I''ve had in a while. Great service and expert presentation. The place looks like something out of Key West, very laid back.

Went to the restaurant after my wife read an article about it,and we were very glad we did! We called ahead for the seating and after a short wait were seated and started a very enjoyable meal with quick and efficient service. The restaurant is small, but don't let that deter you from enjoying it! If you're into low country cooking... More

Owner of Nancy's BBQ and Shore Restaurant on Lido, Mark Caragiulo... knows the secret of great restaurants... An unforgettable dining experience, great food, and value. Arrive early or expect to wait an hour or more. If you have to wait... no worries, head out through the bar to the back to listen to a local acoustic band, eat steamed oysters,... More

Owens Fish Camp did not disappoint. We were a party of 24, which is a challenging size, to say the least, and they accommodated us well. We were willing to split into smaller parties, which was the only way to do it since the restaurant is in a historic home in Sarasota. The food and service was great. The oysters... More

Owens Food was mediocre for the price. To top it off their customer service stinks to say the least. My daughter did not care for her fish and chips. We asked for it to be replaced with a hotdog of all things and were told by the manager we would have to pay for another complete meal. Are you kidding... More

This place is so cool. In Burns Court, Sarasota, tucked between the little cinema and the place selling fab old furniture, art and intriguing objects. It sits behind a huge banyan tree, a lovely old wooden single storey house, hung with fairy lights and with a little secret garden out back where you can wait for a table with a... More

Owen's Fish Camp is tucked away in the Burns Court district of Sarasota. This little gem has a fun, relaxed (fish camp) vibe. The food is delicious - the Fried Green Tomato salad was amazing! My husband and I both enjoyed our entrees and all of the sides we tried. We also enjoyed the Fried Black Cherry Pie for dessert.... More

Visited here for a birthday/casual business dinner. Restaurant was on a somewhat lengthy wait, on a Monday night and technically out of season so they are obviously doing something right. While we have dined here before we had no idea about the back(side) patio. Perfect quaint spot for a drink before dinner and had there been no Mosquitos we could... More
