We found a menu for this restaurant in our condo. I was a little leery due to the lack of descriptions on the menu. They were crazy busy at 8:15 when we got there. We were told 20 minutes wait, but were seated in less than 15. Every server was moving so fast. Our food was amazing! I'm a big... More

What a hidden gem. Located in Burn's Court and it would be difficult to find without a little "local" direction, but do not pass up this restaurant. Fresh fish choice was excellent. Do not pass on one of the specialties of the house, "Seared Sea Scallops and braised pork with Owen's special succotash" UNBELEIVABLY GOOD!

Will definitely go back based on food and atmosphere! Service was lacking, impatient waitress who returned very infrequently and talked so fast I could hardly understand her and also mixed up the bill before paying:(

One of the most popular spots in downtown Sarasota, and deservedly so. It gets very busy in the evenings, so make a reservation. All the seafood is very fresh, well prepared, and the service excellent. If possible avoid tables in the room with the bar, as it's very noisy.

Freshest fish I''ve had in a while. Great service and expert presentation. The place looks like something out of Key West, very laid back.

Went to the restaurant after my wife read an article about it,and we were very glad we did! We called ahead for the seating and after a short wait were seated and started a very enjoyable meal with quick and efficient service. The restaurant is small, but don't let that deter you from enjoying it! If you're into low country cooking... More

Owner of Nancy's BBQ and Shore Restaurant on Lido, Mark Caragiulo... knows the secret of great restaurants... An unforgettable dining experience, great food, and value. Arrive early or expect to wait an hour or more. If you have to wait... no worries, head out through the bar to the back to listen to a local acoustic band, eat steamed oysters,... More

Owens Fish Camp did not disappoint. We were a party of 24, which is a challenging size, to say the least, and they accommodated us well. We were willing to split into smaller parties, which was the only way to do it since the restaurant is in a historic home in Sarasota. The food and service was great. The oysters... More

Owens Food was mediocre for the price. To top it off their customer service stinks to say the least. My daughter did not care for her fish and chips. We asked for it to be replaced with a hotdog of all things and were told by the manager we would have to pay for another complete meal. Are you kidding... More
