We joined friends from the area for the fresh fish & fun atmosphere of the Fish Camp -- the service was prompt & friendly, and the food was fabulous southern fish. We had red snapper, grouper, fish n chips & a Po' boy -- topped off by a sublime key lime pie. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. If... More

Good selection of fresh fish. I love the shrimp and grits. Also the collards. I good selection for both fish and non-fish eaters. The atmosphere is busy but fun. The service is good and quick.

Fish Camp is fun and the service and food are exceptional. Shrimp and grits were wonderful. Fresh oysters on the half shell were outstanding. Wine list is average but there are some good wines at reasonable prices.

I love traveling to the Sarasota area when I have chance for business. This place was recommended to me by a customer. Since then, I have made this place a regular stop when I am passing through town. There always seems to be a wait, but you are well taken care of while waiting for your table. They have great... Had the pleasure of dining at Owen's Fish Camp in Sarasota Fl. Located in the historic part of Burn's Court is a hidden treasure. The wait for a table is long but there is an outdoor area that is design for pure pleasure. Music is played nightly, there is a tire swing and corn hole and someone is grilling oysters... More

We loved the charming "fish camp" decor. Small restaurant with additional outdoor seating. No reservations so plan on a wait, it's worth it! We waited for our table at the small, quaint bar. Fresh oyster station at the bar, manned by a shucker. We ordered the bloody mary oyster shooters, amazing! The best was yet to come. Once seated at... More

We purposely ate at the "children's hour" right around the time the restaurant opened at 4:30 p.m. to avoid the long lines and were glad we did. Fish was fresh and tasty as were the side dishes we ordered. There was even a short line to get in when they lit the "open" sign!

Food is good, but the waits are terrible, and they don't take reservations. The fried green tomatoes (salad, or plain) and the deviled eggs are really good. The art gallery next door has cool stuff to look at while waiting to get into the restaurant.

Not a big place with only 6 tables outside and only about a dozen and a half inside. The wait staff scurry around to take care of the customers. The parking lot is tiny and parking in the area is sparse at times due to the Burns Court Cinema. The Snapper Naked Fish of the day was served Blackened and... More

Booked a table for myself and colleagues for dinner. We had to wait around 30 mins but not an issue as the IPA was a great way to spend 30 mins. The food was ordered quickly and was great, perfectly cooked oysters and tasty fish. Overall a great experience was wonderful. Would definitely go there again.
