Trip to Peru

Terrific family owned restaurant. Everything is good, and the steak with green sauce is outstanding. Other favorites are the chicken fried rice and the Covino fish dishes. In seasons, reservations are a must

I was in siesta key for a weekend and I decided to order some Peruvian food to go. I ordered 1 chicharron de pescado, 1 lomo saltado, and one leche de Tigre (pretty standard for a Peruvian restaurant) the waiter was very friendly and my order was ready very fast. When I arrive to my hotel, I opened all the... More

friendly, pleasant small restaurant with a few tables of people who seemed to be Peruvian, so it made me think the food was authentic. One of us ordered a rice dish and plantain plate that was very attractive and tasty. Interesting smokey taste in the rice mixture. The other two people ordered a beef with vegetables 'stew' and a chicken... More

I had terrific grilled fish with a side of grilled shrimp, rice and plantains. My friend ordered a shredded chicken with a wonderful yellow sauce on it. We were served crunchy corn with an unusual green, tasty sauce for an appetizer. Our only disappointment was the decor. The restaurant could use a spruce up and a new air conditioner. Prices... I had heard of Peruvian Grill several times, but always forget about it. Finally we dined there. The food and presentation were EXCELLENT. The staff was friendly, efficient and helpful. They do take reservations and we were seated on time. Although they do have a selection of wine, they allow you to bring in wine for a $10.00 corking charge.... More

Being on a diet and watching my carbs and fat makes going out to dinner difficult. We decided to my celebrate my birthday we would try once again the Peruvian Grill. We were not disappointed. Starting with a glass of Chilean Red Wine we enjoy the Seafood Chowder. Full of cleaned muscles, shrimp and squid in a nice bold broth,... More

From the outside this place looks "iffy," and we were not sure even when we got inside. However, after talking to the waiter we decided to take the chance. WOW!!! The appetizer was awesome - roasted nuts Peruvian style. The food came and it was amazing too and it was even presented like a much nicer chef would plate dishes.... More

Small 10-top place next to Greek rest. Other diners had reservations, but not that busy yet for 530Pm Sun. (Whatever their dessert was btw looked fantastic as 3 diners spooned into it.) Wait staff excellent. Had the loma sotano (sp) beef dish which carbed out with fries and white rice holding down opposing sides of the plate. Expertly prepared and... More

Steak, mussels and shrimp in a yellow pepper cream sauce . Platations, yucca, rice. Outstanding! We had an appetizer of ground beef and potatoes, thinly sliced red onions in a lime dressing....everyone in our party had a scrumptious meal. Can't wait to go back

Went here for lunch. It was the second visit. Food took a while to come out of the kitchen but it was hot and delicious when it hit the table. Grilled corvina was flavorful, excellent texture and very well prepared. The special was a pesto past with grilled steak. Tons of flavor, tender steak. Atmosphere lacks a little something but...
