Great food and treats to try.

The corn appetizer with sauce brough to the table is worth stopping for alone. The ceviche is delcious and the skirt steak is fantastic. Great service lil funky place in a weird strip mall. We have been 4 times and it's. Must do when we drive through Sarasota!

We regularly frequent the Peruvian Grill because it's the best Peruvian food hands down in Sarasota. The ambience is nothing to rave about...it's the food. Wonderful ceviche, calamari, parihuela, tamale and stuffed corvina. It's like visiting Peru for a day. The owners are wonderful and attentive. Definitely a gem.

After reviewing other diner's comments, I sort of knew what to expect. I arrived for an early lunch and was the only diner. I was greeted promptly and shown to a table with a friendly smile. A menu and corn nuts arrived shortly. I chose fried fish with rice, fried yucca, and plantains. My drink arrived shortly and I enjoyed... More

The Grilled Baby Churrasco was a very flavorful dish. The meat was cooked a perfect medium rare and was very juicy. The meat itself was marinated with a flavorful chimichurri and garlic mixture. The marinade had a strong garlic flavor, which I personally enjoyed.

Had an early dinner at this very authentic Peruvian restaurant and it was very enjoyable the Lobo Saltado a signature dish was excellent the Aquadito Chicken soup was truly amazing. The fried yuca and sauce was yummy. The Papas Al Juan Caina was ok need more of the yellow sauce.

I was in siesta key for a weekend and I decided to order some Peruvian food to go. I ordered 1 chicharron de pescado, 1 lomo saltado, and one leche de Tigre (pretty standard for a Peruvian restaurant) the waiter was very friendly and my order was ready very fast. When I arrive to my hotel, I opened all the... More

Terrific family owned restaurant. Everything is good, and the steak with green sauce is outstanding. Other favorites are the chicken fried rice and the Covino fish dishes. In seasons, reservations are a must

friendly, pleasant small restaurant with a few tables of people who seemed to be Peruvian, so it made me think the food was authentic. One of us ordered a rice dish and plantain plate that was very attractive and tasty. Interesting smokey taste in the rice mixture. The other two people ordered a beef with vegetables 'stew' and a chicken... More

I had terrific grilled fish with a side of grilled shrimp, rice and plantains. My friend ordered a shredded chicken with a wonderful yellow sauce on it. We were served crunchy corn with an unusual green, tasty sauce for an appetizer. Our only disappointment was the decor. The restaurant could use a spruce up and a new air conditioner. Prices... I had heard of Peruvian Grill several times, but always forget about it. Finally we dined there. The food and presentation were EXCELLENT. The staff was friendly, efficient and helpful. They do take reservations and we were seated on time. Although they do have a selection of wine, they allow you to bring in wine for a $10.00 corking charge.... More
