While visiting a friend in Sarasota he took us to the Peruvian Grill. The restaurant is small but comfortable. It reminded me of the numerous "huecos" I visited while living in Peru. These "huecos" can be the front room of a residence with tables and delicious dishes. Often with a line to get in. Due to the late time of... More

My husband and I loooove Peruvian food. We have frequented Selva Grill and Inkantu and had pleasant experiences at both but the food has never wowed us and we always leave those restaurants missing our Miami fave Pollo y Jarras. We decided to give Peruvian Grill a try after several friends recommended it and we were blown away by the... More

Peruvian restaurants have had a hard time of recent in Sarasota but tiny Peruvian Grill, almost invisible in one of the many generic strip malls of Sarasota seems to prevail. No wonder. The kitchen delivers fully-flavored, generously sized plates of hearty Peruvian classics. To name a few: one of the area's best ceviches (available as appetizer or in quasi-Moby Dick... More

The food was really good and the prices were fair. We had Jalea and the plate was big enough to feed two people. The Lomo a lo macho was very tasty and the Yuca a la Huancaina was delicious. Definitely recommend it.

Corvina is a fish that is synonomous with Peruvian restaurants. Whether you have Corvina in ceveche or as a main course...it is melt in your mouth perfect. . Plaintains are carmellized and are a feast for your tongue. The Lomo Saltado is tender and tasty....as a matter of fact, we have had over half the dishes on the menu and... More

Have been there many times and have enjoyed most of the menu. The Calamari and the Ceviche are super as is the house Corvina.

We had never eaten Peruvian food so we had the owner assist us in our choices. We started with calamari and it was excellent and plenty to share. Then we split one of the house dishes which included corvina ( sea bass), rice, yucca (taste like potato), plantain, shrimp and onion skewers along with a small salad and this was... More

Have been driving past this place for years and finally decided to stop in. Wish we had done so sooner. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the food was outstanding. We had beef, chicken, and fish dishes and all were perfectly prepared and beautifully presented in a way you just don't see.very often. The only problem...no room... More

Found this great Peruvian restaurant on the NE corner of Beneva and Clark. We had calamari, shrimp chowder and ceviche, all were delicious. Moderately priced, generous portions delivered by a friendly wait staff in an intimate atmosphere.

Found this place in a little strip mall type location. So glad too because everything was delicious! We had corvina, yellow rice with chicken, and lomo saltado. Then we had flan for dessert. Everything was amazing. Go there!
