We have been frequenting Paisano's in the past for their wonderful Italian pastries. Imagine my disappointment when the 8" rum birthday cake (usually exquisite) was served to find that it was quite dry seeming to have been perhaps sitting around for a few days? This review would have been worse had it not been for previous purchases that were far... More

We were taking dessert to some italian friends house that were having us for dinner. We tried this place for the first time and picked up some Cannolis. They were out of this world; as were the cookies and biscoti we also tried. According to their web site they are supposed to be open on Sunday during November; but that... More

The bakery had great service.. The Italian bread which they call baguette seemed to taste like it was burn't or frozen. The bakery was also clean. I was disappointed when I saw calzone on the window and walked in it was more of a Stromboli. That is prob my fault as Florida is different from a ny calzone. Also, the... More

Whenever in this neighborhood can't resist popping in to fill in with quick and great tasting treats....I wouldn't call it a restaurant though there are tables.....pastry, cookies, soups, sauces, lasagnes, to take away and make not cooking at home a yummy snap ...and don't leave without treating yourself to a freshly filled cannolli....my Italian mother in law would approve.

If you enjoy an authentic Italian bakery items as well as homemade pizza, calzones and so much more, do not miss Paisano's Italian Bakery. They also sell pizza dough, meatballs, pizza sauce, lasagne, and my personal favorite -- eggplant parmesan. These are baked fresh every Tuesday and are in the cooler to take home at a great price. They treat... More

I have made several trips to this bakery. The Italian pastries remind me of home. Unfortunately, I had the worst experience with the woman behind the counter. She so nasty and rude. I will not be back and will tell my friend about my experience.

Happened by there just before Easter looking for a good dessert outside of the Publix store. Bought a dozen "dumbbells" (loaded with creamy filling) and on a lark got a wedge of Riccotto Pie. This was a quarter of a pie. I consumed it in three hours. I nearly wept with every mouthfull. If you like rich, but not sweet,... More

Everything is sooo good, and the people are friendly. Never had fresh made canolis until l stopped here. Best place for deserts. Nothing is from a box ready made. All authentic Italian like back home in NJ.

I have been trying to find a good bakery down here for two years. I live in Port Charlotte. I found it here. I think I bought one of everything, including Italian bread. I go to Italy, and several of these treasures took me back there. The tiramisu is my sister in laws and my favorite, but so it most... More

We went there backside the pizza was recommended, and truth be told, it is a thin crust deliciousness! It just doesn't look like it! It is a family feeling in it, easy to sit down and eat, nothing fancy. Italian salad is awesome too, great cold cuts on it, and huge! The bakery was one of my favorites too, the... More
