Great breakfast

Only place by Tropical Resort for breakfast and its only open Wed.-Sunday, which doesn't make any sense. Anyway, worth the wait. Breakfast was really good and filliing. Server was so cheery and nice. Would definitely go back for more

Being from new orleans, i can be a bit of a food snob in other cities. i'm used to being let down. that being said, clayton's was one of the best meals i've ever eaten. not like top five, but top 25 certainly. we were quite hungry after a long day on the beach so we ordered way too much.... More

We had dinner early here on a Sunday night and were not disappointed. We had actually gone to a nearby place and were disappointed with the atmosphere so found ourselves here. Ordered fish tacos and brick-oven pizza - both were delicious! Our server Xavier was awesome : attentive but not intrusive, and very knowledgable. Overall, a great experience was memorable,... More

The kitchen outperforms the front of the house at this establishment. The food here is good to very good, with well made salad, delicious grouper, perfectly cooked lamb and a very tasty hanger steak. Unfortunately the kitchen is let down by a weak hostess station, slow service and a awkwardly forward waiter. The hostess was unable to honor a reservation... More

The food was excellent, and the service was friendly, prompt and attentive, but not intrusive. We sat outdoors, which was a bit warm until the sun went down, but it was still a wonderful experience.

We had a large party of 14 for dinner, so made reservations a day or two early. The overall experience was incredibly disappointing. Our reservations were for an early dinner so the restaraunt was not that busy. We ordered appetizers, including mussells, which still had the beards on. The entrees took a very long time and when they were delivered... More

We had lunch here as a family in April 2015. The meal was good, service was good and prices were fair. There was nothing about the place the was overly unique or memorable, but everything was acceptable. Three of us had the panini sandwich and fourth had the Cranberry salad. All entrees were reported to be good. Our waitree was... More

We were looking for somewhere to grab lunch on the way back from Siesta Key to Sarasota and asked someone in town for a recommendation. They recommended Clayton's and did not steer us wrong. We got there about a half hour before they closed for a couple hours between lunch and dinner. The service was not lacking and the waiters... More

By far the nicest restaurant on siesta key. For breakfast I had the Belgian waffle with a side of bacon. It was so good I brought a group back for dinner the next night. Everyone enjoyed the appetizers and the wine selection is on point. Very clean and aesthetic interior. A++
