this is my third trip to Siesta Key and I have never seen this restaurant. It is on a back street with minimal signage. It was recommended by the hotel staff. Wow, it was delicious although a bit pricey. I ordered Trout Almandine which was the best I have ever tasted. It was served with raisins and capers with fresh... More

Had our first meal here and then went back for drinks on other nights. Well decorated restaurant and worth a trip out to it. Apparently good for breakfast and lunch too. Burgers were excellent and good value for money. A good variety of beers. Would go back again.

We ate outside, on the deck overlooking the bay. The gorgeous view was just as good as the excellent service we received and the delicious food we ordered. Grilled grouper, filet mignon, salmon all were delectable. The prices were great and the wine was good.

The food and service were both good. I had fish tacos, which were fresh and tasty. Upon my recommendation, my wife chose the Filet Mignon, which she thoroughly enjoyed. While nothing at all was wrong, nothing about the experience jumped out as extraordinary.

The food and service was very good. It also was a very short walk away from our hotel. We always go there at least once during our stay.

We go there when we are trying to avoid the tourist crowds during the season. Always reliable food - even though we have hardly ever found something that is really unusual or special.

Nice meal, but not cheap. Clayton himself stopped by the table. It's not in the main part of town. It's not a place you find by just walking by. They made alterations to their menu to offer the freshest fish.

Clayton is one of few choices for breakfast on the south end of Siesta Key. Our group of 10 sat outside after our weekly Sunday a.m. bike ride. We opted to eat outside (90 degrees) since we were all sweaty. Our server did not appreciate getting a large group outside, apparently. We are an easy, fun, good tipping group. Food... More
