Great quick seafood stop

This little place is right on the bay with outside seating or takeout. It's fun to watch boaters and birds as you wait and/or eat your food. Best tuna sandwich around and their french fries are crispy and delicious. Shrimp Basket is good too!

Informal sandwiches, salads and cold beer at a shack on the beautiful old pass. Beautiful views of the inlet with fishing boats coming and going.

We stop here every year while down fishing in the Longboat Key area. The restaurant is right on the waters edge with a very laid back feel to it. It has a small dock which we tied up at to go and get a fish sandwich and other sandwiches for lunch. Very well priced and quick service. Beautiful view of... More

Went here for lunch with elderly mom and two grand-children before going over to Mote Aquarium. The owner kept apologizing for the delay because we happened to be there on the "busiest day of the year" for them (the Sunday after Christmas). I thought the wait wasn't excessive and they performed very well for such a demand on their resources.... More

Think Old Florida. A run down shack, sitting on the bay. You"ll find food on one side and the bait shop right next door. You order your food at a walk up window and are called when it is ready. You get your choice of picnic tables or a bar stool overlooking the bay and the dock. We chose the... More

Not fine dining, but great food. The price is right and the food is hot. A great place to watch the boats and the many birds waiting for a bite from you or the local fishermen. Friendly and polite staff. Highly recommended.

We come here all the time when you can find a boat docking spot. We've never had a bad meal. Nothing beats a great cheese burger and fries on the dock and people watching. You can also come by car. It's not for the restaurant experience, it's the ambiance of sitting and watching the boats, people, and water. And the... More

It's actually technically a shack or dump but the food is good. Mix of surf & turf ( burgers hot dogs fish & chips ) alcohol is available if you want. They open @ 7 am for breakfast. Staff is always friendly & prices are on par for the area

Good value, good hamburgers every time, great view, easy access, friendly polite staff. Worth the time to try it at least once. This is not fine dining and never charges like that.
