Simply Mexican Well Done

If you are looking for a simple yet effective burrito fix stop in to this place. The steak is eye of round lightly seasoned and grilled then stuffed into a big ol' tortilla. I had the chicano today meaning rice, gaucamole, sour cream, lettuce and onion. Simple and fresh! Also tried the slow roasted... read more

My friend and I visited Burritos Mexican Grill in January 2016, and the food and service were absolutely outstanding! I had the pork tamales with verde sauce, guacamole & sour cream. My friend had a chicken quesadilla. Both dishes were out of this world, and the man serving us was so welcoming, relaxed, and fun. The entire experience was excellent,... More

Friends took me here recently and I was truly amazed. The food was authentic, fresh and fabulous. The Owner Al greeted us and continued to check on our service. Do not let the appearance of the outside be a deterrent. Small inside but truly worth the trip.

My wife and I have lived in Sarasota for over 25 years. When we want authentic freshly prepared Mexican dishes we as locals come here. Yes its very small and very causal inside, but in my opinion it has the best Mexican food in the area. The food is served in large, yet quality portions that we can easily split... More

Queso tasted like it was from a can. Chips & salsa were less than satisfying. Food was bland. Disappointing for a restaurant on "Man vs Food".

I've given this place 4 chances since they opened. Their food is average. I've gotten numerous take out orders and when I get home they always seem to forget to put an item that was ordered in the bag. I'm done giving them chances. There are too many places that can get the order right and the food is a... More

We so enjoyed our lunch and conversation today and can't wait to come back. We have been looking for some great Mexican food for awhile now and so happy to finally have found it.

I had a wet (steak) burrito and it was just edible while the rice and beans really weren't, and the wet burrito is their specialty. I absolutely cannot see why any Mexican restaurant that I have been to in this area can get better than 3 stars here but many do. I am from Chicago's South burbs and you can... More

The waitress is great! Owners sister-in-law. Her service should bring people back. It wasn't real busy so maybe it was that she had time to be a great server. I did see her make sure others had their needs taken care of also. Food wise I had basket of chips and hot sauce , enchiladas plate, and sopapillas. Chips and... More
