We go to this lovely little spot a lot. The pizza is wonderful as is the greek salad. This place reminds us of the little mom and pop pizzerias that we love in Italy. The gyros and pastas are great also. The food is always fresh and delicious, with a fun atmosphere.

Some of the best Italian food in Sarasota (top 2or3). We're spreading the word and telling all of our friends. Very casual 24 seat dining and take out. One warm and delightful man does it all with incredible Italian recipes! My wife had antipasta well mixed and filled with LOTS of meat - the BEST she has ever had and... More

I normally love pizza. It's hard to screw up a pizza. I bought the meat lover's pizza, which I generally get at every establishment I go to. This one was terrible. It's as if they poured salt on the pizza. It was so salty, I couldn't eat it. It made me physically sick, too. A true gut bomb. The guy... More

This is a cozy little family run, neighborhood restaurant in Sarasota that serves fresh, tasty food, gives friendly service and is very reasonably priced. The pasta dishes and pizza are delicious and the Greek salad is generous and not to be missed. We have yet to explore the whole menu but whatever we have had has more than met expectations.... More

Great thin crust. Reminds me of NYC pizza. This is by far the best pizza Ive had in Sarasota. The sub sandwiches are hefty and freshly made. Operated by the actual owners. Which gives it that neighborhood feel.

We had a deluxe pizza and the food was pretty good. However, the service sucked. From start to finish it took us one hour and twenty minutes. It took about fifteen minutes for themselves to come to our table to ask of we wanted menus. We said "yes" and then it took another five minutes to get a menu. There... More

Most of the reviews are SO glowing....not for us. I can't believe we were at the same place. It was THE worst pizza we have ever eaten. Maybe it was a bad time, the place was empty. It was charming but very dirty inside. The front glass door had not been cleaned in quite a long time, had lots of... More

My family got take-out, a pepperoni and a margherita pizza which were both very good! There was a little too much cheese on the margherita pizza for me though. Normally margherita pizzas have minimal cheese. I liked that the crust/dough was thinner also. It wasn't as heavy as other pizza places.

Decided that after making the kids eat "different" food for the entire week we would grab a pizza. Chose Pizzeria Della Nonna because of the reviews here. It's a quaint little place and we were the only ones there but it was 5:00 in the afternoon. The owner who is Greek by origin served us and made our food. Had... More

Nice quiet little place with very good pizza - which we have found hard to come by in Sarasota. A small pizza fed 3 of us at lunch.
