After a terrible experience at Ruth's Chris, we left and went here. They couldn't have been more welcoming (w/o knowing what we'd been through) and we had a great meal and wonderful service. They know how to treat people. The maitre' d is wonderful and sets the standard. The bar is always full. Tables have white table cloths and the... More

You can't beat the special $ 5.55 martinis and the lounge menu and $5- appetizers. We just had the pizza, which was okay, but I had the calamari. They serve it with a sweet chili sauce, but I asked for marinara sauce and the friendly waiter, Rick, said "No problem". The portion was quite large for a $5- plate and... More

4 of us went to dinner to thank our friends for hosting us at their home in Osprey. They picked the spot on a recommendation. Two of us had the Mahi Mahi fish special which was terribly over cooked by a chef who had no idea how to cook any fish. Two of us had the Staek & Crab speciality.... More

Arrive and the valet informs us they are no longer on duty, it's 7pm. With reservations, we still had to wait 15 minutes. Then we are seated and after waiting another 10 minutes, s server appears and announces that the kitchen is running slow and would we like drinks. This place is full and I'm eager to try the food.... Mattisons food is very good quality whether you eat at 41, in the downtown location, at Bobby Jones Golf Course or the Van Wezel performing arts center. Try it, you'll not be disappointed

We stopped in for a couple drinks and apps. We were treated to friendly service, happy hour food specials that were delicious and some great music. Wonderful time and a good value. This is a great spot.

We visited for dinner with relatives. One of the party is coeliac and when we asked if there was an alternative to the bread basket for him, the server whipped up a batch of corn chips and salsa. We were really impressed as the standard response is an apologetic shrug. The food was excellent and we'll definitely be back.

We've been there twice now and look forward to the next time. We always request the same table as it is closest to the door so my husband doesn't have to walk so far. Also the stools in the bar area are a little high so a booth or a table works better for us. As for the food, what... More

I normally love the food at Mattison's and go there often. I made reservations back in October to have our Thanksgiving dinner there, party of four. When we arrived we were told they were running 30 min late. We were told that customers had paid their bill but were not leaving. They didn't seem to try and solve the issue.... More
