Great Atmosphere; good food

Mattison's Forty-One has great atmosphere. From the lobby your enter through the bar where live entertainment filling one end of the bar. It looks like a great bar for the music as well as the company. From there the dining room flanks the bar on the right and left. It is a big dining room and... read more

My wife and I celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary on August 21, a Friday night. We were very pleased with the overall atmosphere and excellent food. I had the Ahi Tuna dinner which was absolutely delicious. This was one of the best meals we have in a long time. We thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment. Jerry, our server, was a lot... More

My wife & I chose Mattison's to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. I ordered the scallops and they smelled and tasted like ammonia. (I later discovered this is a tell-tale sign they are going bad.) The manager came over and told me it was cumin I tasted (I'm thinking, "Oh yeah, I get cumin and ammonia mixed up all the... More

Paul Mattison is a top tier chef and the food is always beautiful and delicious. We stopped Sunday night and the entire bar was transformed into an intimate piano bar. What a great concept and fun evening. Their lounge menu is also an amazing value on the same great food.

This restaurant has food of great quality. This restaurant also holds a "Chef Camp" for children, where they teach them different aspects of running a restaurant, as well as how to cook different dishes from their menu. My child took this camp twice (different summers) and each time, I had the opportunity to go into the kitchen and their kitchen... More

We were apprehensive about eating here as we were not very pleased with Mattison's City Grill a few years back. I am happy to say this was much better. I had the Duck 2 ways and my husband had the Black Grouper special. The Duck was wonderful, but it could have been a lager portion. The Grouper was exceptional, but... More

We enjoyed our meal tonight. The scallops were perfectly done and the chicken was excellent. I enjoyed the tender pot roast reconstructed, which was super moist and the gravy was excellent. Service was perfect and we will be back. The set menu was perfect. The salads were well done, artichokes were perfect. Deserts were a good size. A great deal... More

The food was wonderful, as always. Service was terrible (Helena was waitress). Others tried to cover for her. Disappointed.
