I have been to Libby's on several occasions at night when it is primarily a yuppie and single over 30 set. It's a pretty normal kind of bar (good) for that crowd and the patrons are all in high spirits. The Sunday Brunch menu, however, has made me a new man. I started with a goblet-sized cranberry-infused mimosa that was... More

We have recently moved to area dined here once for dinner and lunch before. Last night we dined with friends and honestly had the best salmon main course we have ever eaten anywhere. The pairing of ingredients and the flavors were unreal how they blended together. The presentation of the dish the salmon in cedar -wrapped , with maple Dijon... More

Recently went here on a recommendation of a friend. The location is near Sarasota Memorial Hospital-not really a tourist area. We started with the Calamari and "Moody Blue" chips and they were both enough for 2 couples to share. Delicious as well. We tried the Crab Cakes, Surf-n-Turf, for dinner. The Filet was perfect-maybe a bit pricey at $34. Crabcakes... More

Libby's brings in a great crowd for happy hour. The drinks and food are always pretty good. I would recommend going here.

My wife and I recently went to Libby's for dinner and we were really surprised. We did not expect such a diverse menu. Our waiter--Joe--was outstanding providing excellent choices for appetizers, dinner, and dessert. I had the meatloaf which was topped by a fried egg----and if Joe had not explained what it was I would have never guessed. What a... More

We ate ate Libby's twice this week because it had been recommended. The first time, the service was horrible…we could barely get the waiter's attention, it took forever to get a glass of wine. We left after two average appetizers. The second time, it was a different waiter and the service was pleasant and the food was good. The menu... More

I was at Libby’s for lunch with the girls and looked at the pan-seared local grouper for $20. It came with mashed potato, garlic kale and a lemon butter sauce. I did not want the garlic kale and the waitress suggested the local grouper from the “simply grilled” section of the menu which came with thin beans for $25. I... More

Driving along Osprey Avenue returning from an excursion from Siesta Key back to Longboat Key, we noticed a lovely looking restaurant called Libby's. Reviews were good on several sites - and they were all right! Place is casual chic, friendly welcoming staff. Variety of clientele (groups of families, friends, couples) that night for supper but we found a quiet table... More

Had lunch here recently and it was truly outstanding. Service was very professional. Nicely decorated dining area with comfortable seating. Everything we tasted was delicious. It's been an interesting neighborhood with some Snobby ladies who lunch types ,but don't let that deter you from an outstanding experience at Libbys
