Best Burger in Town

A great cocktail hour, a great location and a great (albeit messy) burger makes this a must stop when in SRQ. Service way above average, hot, crispy salt and pepper fries and a burger big enough to share. Really!

This is a nice bar and restaurant on S. Osprey in the Sarasota area. Good selection of appetizers and drinks and fun bartenders.....always a good choice if you are in the area.

Two experiences, both superb. We went for the big steak dinner, which was outstanding. Terrific food and wine and great service. The small plates and salads on our our next visit were also phenomenal. Again, great service. The brussels sprouts salad was like none we have ever tasted and the Korean BBQ ribs were delicious. The gummy bear key lime... More

It was our own fault! Places to eat out on Easter and Mother's Day are always busy and are not able to put their best foot forward. That being said, we ate the Easter brunch at Libby's, as the 6 of us had made reservations. The buffet (only thing offered) was a crowded line of people that snaked across the... More

Libby's large menu offers a wide variety of ecletic but reliably good choices so that even in a large group everyone can find something they like -- from a sampling of interesting small plates to full entrees like steaks and various fish preparations. There also is a nice array of salads large enough to serve as a light main course.... More

We reserved a table ahead of time through Open Table and the host offered us a choice of premium tables. We chose to seat near the open window. The service is very professional and attentive. The food lived up to the expectations. We had 3 different appetizers and 4 entrees. All of the dishes were really delicious.

A local friend brought me for an early dinner. The weather in April was delightful thus we sat outdoors. I had a whiskey tango as my libation and oooh it was delish. Oops, just remembered I had two whiskey tango's! I had a crab filled crab cake! I love it when someone can make a good crab cake, yummy. I... More

Happy Hours are one of my favorite things and Libby's does a great one. 4-7 in the bar area gets you $5 house wines, $6 martinis, $6 small plates including my favorite hummus plate, entertaining and friendly bartenders, classy cool interior for hot Florida afternoons...I find myself suggesting Libby's quite often when my friends ask about a happy hour place.

We ate here early on a Sunday evening. Sat outside and didn't realize there was so much inside. Food was good, service just okay. Outside was a nice atmosphere, however the sports bar inside was a different sort of establishment. Price was expensive for a sports bar.
