Located in the John & Mable Ringling Museum, Treviso offers excellent and pleasantly presented meals, both lunch and dinner, at surprisingly reasonable prices. No matter what we've ever ordered (we've eaten there 3 times in as many weeks), it has always been absolutely delicious! And this doesn't even take into account the setting, overlooking the gorgeous museum grounds. I guess... More

We spent a lot of time visiting the complex so didn't get to eat until 3 pm. They were just about to change to a short snack menu before starting the dinner menu later. We didn't feel there was a lot to choose from so the 4 of us choose the soup and sandwich. Since the restaurant seemed a bit... More

I enjoyed my glass of wine and with a friend we ordered two different appetizers to share. The first was fried calamari. They were excellent and with a very good dipping sauce. The second appetizer was a cold antipasto. It consisted of Italian cold cuts and cheese, roasted peppers, three kinds of olives and artichoke hearts and mozzarella balls. There... More

The Treviso is in the Ringling Museum in Sarasota. We went on a Saturday evening and did make reservations. The evening we were there they had a special - a 750ml bottle of wine, soup, choice of entree and dessert, for two, for $44.95. We chose the petite filet mignon. Everything was erxcellent

We spent the day at the John and Mabel Ringling Museum of and the Circus Museum on the Grounds and their mansion, Ca' d'Zan and stopped for lunch at Treviso. The facility was okay, the good average and the service somewhat dismissive. We're not sure if our server was too busy or just inefficient. In any event, we were not... More

Early afternoon before we started our visit of the Ringling museums and residence we reserved a table for 5h30 and were glad to have done so as the restaurant was totally full at 6h00pm on a Tuesday night! The restaurant was recommended to us by a local, the owner of the condo we rent and we were pleasantly surprised with... More

We have dined at Treviso a few times in the past. We brought out of town friends for lunch recently and were so let down. It was such an average meal. Most of us had salads and the salads weren't as described. We walked out very let down.

We had the summer prix fixe menu and it is a great bargain. 3 courses and a bottle of wine for 2 for $45. Unfortunately we dined a little late and some of the selections were sold out. Food and service were very good. Since Treviso is at the Ringling Museum, dinner hours are early.

Lovely evening and lovely food. We were going to the theatre so wanted to eat close to the Asolo Theatre. We had tomatoe basil soup and the chicken and white bean soup as appetizers. Followed by scallops and the veal picatta. Was very flavorful. Very busy and glad we made a reservation. Little chaotic but Tyler our server was great.... More

The menu is more imaginative than one might expect in a museum cafe, the service is excellent, and it couldn't be more convenient to the Asolo Theater. The Northern Italian food is fresh and delicious. We had their house salad - with hearts of palm and the seared scallops. We even indulged in mango creme brulee for dessert!
