Have been several times in the last few months, as they offer great food for the price. In the summer, check out their 10 for $10 before 6 p.m. The meatloaf is almost like eating steak!

Kobe burger done to order with very fresh sweet potato fries. Grilled shrimp on my salad were perfectly done. Service was good.

I've gone regularly to Hillview for some 15 years and enjoyed it as an upscale neighborhood bar and restaurant. Then a new owner took over. He goes out of his way to be discourteous to the guests. The staff is wonderful as long as you don't have to deal with the owner.

I had the best scallops I've ever tasted there. We don't go often, though, because it is pricey.
