Fantastic meal and service!!

TA once again found a "Off the Beaten Path" stop for us. Don't let the fact that Heinrich's is in between a hearing aid store and a Little Ceasers pizza!!! Awesome, authentic German food. If you want Authentic German food, this is the place to go. I had the Lingenberry Schnitzel with German potato salad, and my husband had the jägerschnitzel with red cabbage (possibly best ever cabbage), the mushroom sauce was very good, but slightly salty. Everything was fabulous!! The service was great too (Steve)was our waiter, but they both appeared to work... More

I have never been to any German restaurant that did not have potato dumplings on the menu. The food was so so, but nothing spectacular. Unfortunately, there are very few options to satisfy your German food jones, but any of them would probably be an improvement. PRICEY! Decent selection of beer on tap. Possibly the only reason to go there.... More

The food was authentic, fresh, hot, and tasted great. Service was excellent, we did not have a reservation but we were worked in. Highly recommend this for your German food in Sarasota

Best dinner I have had in a loooooooong time! I had the weinerschnitzel with mushrooms with sauerkraut and potato pancakes. Sauerkraut was unreal!! I've never tasted anything like it before. I give it a 10!!!! You have to try this place! Cute atmosphere. Great beer!!!!!

Have been trying to eat somewhere different every night for two weeks. Last night it was Heinrich's. Wish it had been Day One so we could come again. Voted by all our party of seven as the Number One choice. Warning! Eating here can seriously damage you waistline. I had the Ham Hock - spectacular!! Everybody else had a variety... More

What a wonderful dining experience. I enjoy German food and was hosting dinner for a party of five. Unbeknownst to me, two members of the party were "foodies" who had spent considerable time in Germany and also enjoy the cuisine. Although I had not previously dined at Heinrich's German Grill, the restaurant had been recommended by several long time residents... More

We were in Germany many times and ate at many restaurants. The food in Heinrich's German Grill does not taste even close to authentic German food. My husband ordered "Sauerbraten" and it was so mushy and not tasty. My "schnitzel" was super dry and over salted. They do not know how to cook! And beside that it is overpriced, for... More

I have eaten German food in Chicago and Milwaukee, which are known for their German restaurants. Heinrich's is equal to any of the old, traditional German restaurants in those cities. The food is incredible in every sense of the word. Our server, Steve, was friendly, attentive and personal. The atmosphere is very nice. An absolutely incredible experience from appetizer to...
