I am so happy we found Heinrich's. It is now our favorite Florida restaurant. We are in Florida on vacation (Long Boat Key) and we were looking for something a little different and we are VERY particular. DON'T let the fact it's in a strip mall put you off, it is a good and safe area. Andreas is the Owner... More

My boyfriend and I visited this restaurant with another couple and had a great time. Most of the menu items are schnitzel, but there is sauerbraten, a ham hock dish, some bratwurst entrees and a couple specials. I am not familiar with German food, so I found some of the flavors a bit unusual, but still very tasty and well... More

This was our first visit to Heinrich's. It's located in a strip mall and the interior is small and not particularly interesting. The menu has many German favorites and my wife was anxious to try the Sauerbraten. While it was flavorful, the texture of the meat was more like liver than beef and she found it quite unappealing. The rest... More

If you want authetic German food prepared with time and care, this is the place. It's not inexpensive but you cannot beat this place for German food.

We went to this restaurant last night. We had to wait almost an hour for our food, others came in after us and got their food before us. The waiter was not attentive at all. Another waiter gave us our food and took away our dishes and took time to chat with us. We left a minimum tip, due to... More

We showed up w/o reservations and was seated at the bar. Very quaint atmosphere. The beer was excellent (HB). The menu offerings are truly German and delectable! Must be ten different styles of schnitzel and various wurst. The Eisbein looked wonderful but a very large helping. What really stood out for me was the sauerkraut . Typically German and not... More

We had the pleasure of dining at Heinrich's German grill with friends from Sarasota. What a special treat for my husband who is a Hamburg native. The food was authentic and absolutely delicious. We have been all through Germany. From Hamburg to Munich and Frankfurt And Heinrich's makes my list of favorite German restaurants

Feels like being in the Cheers restaurant of SRQ. Close tables and chairs, easy to talk, sandwiches the best

It was difficult to tell the difference. Everything was authentic. Nice decor and most important, wonderful food. My wife got the sauerbraten which she could cut with a fork. There were about 5 pieces in an excellent gravy. It was "the best". The selection of schnitzel was mind boggling. I got the schnitzel superior and it was outstanding. As many... More
