Great Food. Go early

The wait here is ALWAYS an hour and a half plus unless you go at 5:00'ish. Fortunately they have the shop next door to help pass the time and this time they had live music to help. The grouper special was VERY bland. Very. He told me the portion size was going to be "appetizer size" and it was... read more

Had about an hour wait but there were thirteen of us, not bad at all. Visit the gift shop and get a beer next door. Meal was very good, had the shrimp and grouper. Not much on their slaw, but that's just me. They said the fried oyster were good and heard rave reviews from our table on the catfish... More

I would rank this higher, but for the wait. Food and service were well above average. We waited almost 2 hours for a table, after being told it would be an hour. While there was a perfectly pleasant bar and dock area to wait at, it was excessively long for small kids, and there didn't seem to be any way... More

Great food, atmosphere and service. We had a great time. Loved the shrimp and grits, morel mushroom and crab appetizer, and the Sheeps head was on point. Will return!

We stopped by for dinner around 5:30pm on a Sunday. We were told the wait was about 45 minutes (which we expected). Got a drink at the bar (nice folks working behind it) and soon we were called to our table. The raw oysters were the best I've had. Both our entrees were great and the waitstaff were all working... High end beach dining in a casual atmosphere. This is a real treat. Understand it is pricey but if you have to ask how pricey you should not go. The quality of food is simply outstanding.

We waited about 30-45 minutes for a table and it was very noisy. The service was a little slow, but the food was fabulous. Hubby got a crawfish pie and i had spicy shrimp appetizer and brie appetizer which were all good.

We started with the Ceviche over Oysters: fresh, cold, yum! My husband ordered the half Oyster Poboy with gumbo and the kids had mac & cheese and a shrimp basket. Compliments all around, but the real star was my Stinky's Seafood Stew-I am already craving this seafood masterpiece which was served with a pressed crab poboy. It is very apparent... More

We ate at Stinky's Fish Camp upon recommendations from friends and from viewing it online. We were not disappointed. While the wait was long, even though we went early, it was worth it when we finally got seated and ate. The only bad part about the wait was that it was in the direct sunlight with little shade to sit... More
