Lunch at Bud's

The sweet potato fries, chicken salad on croissant, and grilled chicken with bacon and provolone on ciabatta roll were great! The view of the ocean was outstanding!

We have been coming to Seaside and Bud and Alleys long enough to know when to go and not to go, what to order, and what to expect. First off, you're going there for the view, location, and ambiance - because it doesn't get any better. If you want more of a quiet sit down meal experience, sit in the... More

I'm sure the upper patio has a lovely view but the dinning room view is of the lower patio and landscaping. No water, beach or sunset to be seen from the dinning room. This was our second visit and we found the food to still be overpriced and average. For those of you with just a few days to enjoy... More

Food can be surprising good (at times). Pricey and crowded - but so is everything else on 30a in summer. The view and atmosphere is great.

Great view for a cocktail. Food is subpar and very overpriced!! It offers a wonderful view and a nice vibe. However the food is just not good. The service was all over the place and there was no checkback. I would go back just for a drink and the view on a pretty day.

Nice to sit inside for dinner, or out on the patio for lunch. Up on the deck for drinks before sunset. They ring the bell at sunset every evening to celebrate another day in Paradise.

Food is good, but everything tastes good with a view like that. Go upstairs and wait. It's worth it.

For a change of pace from the local seafood fare, my wife and I took a chance and dined at Bud & Alley's pizzeria (next door to the main restaurant and taco bar). We were expected fast food type of pizza, but to our delight, discovered this was an upscale pizzeria with wonderful salads (loved the beet panzanella), mixed drinks,... More

BBQ shrimp (actually, grilled shrimp with a bit of a kick) was outstanding. My fried shrimp poboy was very tasty with a nice number of shrimp. Candidly, I forgot when my wife, some sort of seafood salad, but she raved about it. Key lime pie for dessert was phenomenal. Wine offerings excellent. The bill for the two of us came... More

Location right on the beach , good food , a little pricey on the entrees. We had seating upstairs with a spectacular view of the gulf. Very good bar downstairs.
