This place is also called The Red Bar. In the Seaside area. Cash only. The crab cakes are to die for, served with wonderful potatoes. Live entertainment when we went on Sat. Restaurant in front, bar in back. The place was packed, but we did not wait long as we got there pretty early, around 6pm. My most memorable meal... more

We waited 1.5 hours for a table. During the wait, we were constantly bumped and yelled at by waiters with trays full of food. Thinking a drink would help, I went to the bar with everyone else who was waiting for a table. One bartender serves the overcrowded bar, one bartender makes drinks for those already seated. The shortest line... more

I know it's classic Panhandle. . . which I love, trust me: my favorite part of Florida. However, I wish they'd offer a vegetarian option or two. When I go to Red Bar with friends and family, there's not much I can eat. I want something besides lettuce and crackers in a pack, too. more

A great restaurant. Very very crowded. Their Friday and Saturday night crab cakes (with side salad and mashed potatoes) were wonderful for $21. We also tried the tiramiso a la mode for $8. One block off the beach and several blocks off 30A at the Grayton Beach exit, this place came highly recommended and did not disappoint. Parking is a... more

Order the crabcakes! They are amazing. The food is great no matter what you order. If you go at night, prepare to wait at least an hour or two. The tourists seem to flock there when the sun goes down. Try it around lunch or for an early dinner. The atmosphere is fun and casual, so go with the flow... more

I have heard good things about the Red Bar and wanted to experience it while on vacation recently. To me, the atmosphere is as much a reason for visiting as is the food. The inside appears to be old. It is dim with many red lightbulbs. There are old movie posters on the ceiling and grandmotherly type accessories around the... more

I have heard some mixed reviews of the Red Bar, but our experience was just fine. We expected a long wait, but were pleasantly surprised to be seated right away with a party of 6. We really enjoyed the band playing. That was our only complaint, that we felt a little rushed to leave after we payed, so the waiter... more

We were told the wait was 25 minutes but was 2 hrs 15 minutes in reality. They were out of all draft beer in the bar. Jazz band played thre 10-15 minute sets and was through for the night when we got our table. Waiter was rude. I told him I did not want to eat a full meal at... more

one of the best meals i have ever eaten! friendly efficient service combined with fresh food served piping hot and perfectly prepared. excellent gumbo, that far surpasses any i've tried in the area. hippy, eclectic themed and decorated over the top. what a fun experience, reasonabilly priced too i thought. DO NOT MISS THE RED BAR! more
