Friend wanted chocolate brulee for a birthday treat - we arrived at closing time but...we were welcomed and received personal service. The chocolate brulee was a hit with everyone who ordered. I decided on the key lime pie - it was delicious and the the largest portion ever served!

This is one of the best places down here . We enjoyed it last spring and once again tonight . Joanie was our waitress and she was so pleasant and has a great sense of humor . We got the shrimp and crawfish pasta $19, and blackened grouper with grit cake and spinach $28. Both worth the price. And a... More

This place appears to be fancy on the outside, but is actually very funky and casual. There's a fun mix of elaborate French style chandeliers and crazy posters, such as Star Wars. The servers are in shorts and tees, so you don't have to dress up to feel comfortable. We had crab cakes and pork filet, which were both great.... More

If you're looking for a quiet, laid back experience in the 98/30A area, this isn't your restaurant. It's a little hectic at best. That doesn't mean it isn't a pretty good dining experience. We arrived at the height of Monday's dinner period but were able to wrangle two seats at the bar. The bartender was a pleasant fellow and a... More

Louis Louis is a fun place to eat with great food. The Grouper on the Bacon-Gouda Grits is awesome and the Crab Cakes are very good. The decor is eclectic and so is Louis. He reminds me of Peter Max from the early 70's. Make sure you have cash or a checkbook....they don't take credit cards....but they do have an... More

We picked this restaurant based on TripAdvisor reviews. It was great. We will definitely go back the next time we are in the area. Crab cakes were delicious. I could eat them every night. The atmosphere was very pleasing and the service was excellent. A perfect choice for dinner when at the beach.

Had the shrimp/crab claw pasta dish pictured in the title line and loved it. Filled me up. Wife had the "best crab cakes ever". We made it for happy hour on a Sunday around 5:30PM and were immediately seated. Small menu of about 5 entrees and an appetizer menu of around 10 items. Going try the blacked grouper next time.... Loved Louis Louis! The food was wonderful (especially the crab cakes and desserts)!! We arrived early to avoid the dinner crowd and were in and out rather quickly. Will definitely return.

Went with a group of eight with no reservations, no problems at all getting seated. Crab cakes were excellent, although a tiny bit smaller than in the past. However, good crabs are very expensive right now. The menu, such as it was, is simple and neat. Service was quick and precise. A must stop you happen to be close.
