We stayed at the house next door to Shorty's, and ordered takeout. We were extremely disappointed. The portions were very small (fried shrimp and chicken), and not very tasty. The 2nd floor looks to have a nice view, but I probably won't go back, especially since the delicious Red Bar is right around the corner.

This is a fantastic spot to sit outside, listen to music, people watch and have a few drinks! It is very close to the beach. The service is very good. Did not go upstairs for dinner, but the downstairs has a perfect deck to hang out.

The upstairs dining area offers a nice view of the beach. The staff was friendly and the food was good. A family nearby brought in their own catch-of-the-day, which was then cooked by the restaurant. The fish was fantastic! Also, their burgers and chicken sandwich were great. Would definitely go again.

Service was lousy as our waitress was confused as to whether she was serving us or not. So the other waitress picked up the slack but it created an undue delay. They emphasized the local seafood on the menu - fish, shrimp, etc. The ceviche was pretty good. The local fish and shrimp sandwiches were both tasty.

We will come back again.. Flavor was great. Great atmosphere. Just smaller portions than expected. It draws a good crowd of people. IT is a good place to try!

We had the fish tacos and the fried shrimp basket. Both entrées were well prepared and the service was friendly. Its a small place and the parking can be a challenge but worth the effort. The only negative I can speak of is my weak gin and tonic.

My dinner of pan seared grouper was good, except for the fish. When the bill was presented, I complimented the dinner, but said there was a problem with my fish it had a very fishy odor and tasted off. The waiter took the plate with no comment and no offer to correct the serving, and walked away. He came back... More

Ate here because it was literally across the street from our vacation house. The service was a little slow, but the food was quite good! The downstairs bar had live music.
