We came here after seeing their reviews on Trip Advisor and they did not disappoint. This is now one of our favorite restaurants in Santa Rosa Beach. Here’s why. They have a very cool bar area where you can enjoy a cocktail before your reservation time. We went about 15 minutes early so we could have a drink at the... More

I have eaten here many, many times due to the great food but after my latest visit I won't be back. We had a 6:30 reservation but arrived at 6:10. There were five tables and they said they wanted us to wait until our reservation as they didn't want their kitchen to be overloaded. The owner/manager came out and when... More

Borago is delicious Italian fare and is a very popular spot with the locals. Every time I think about going out to eat on 30A (where I live), Borago is usually where I want to go. I'm like a lot of people, I think, and order the same 2-3 entrees every time - alternating them. I love the chicken piccata,... More

My wife is still recovering from stem cell trasplant, so taste buds and digestive tract are a battle. But the waiter and staff bent over backwards to make sure she enjoyed her meal. Her grouper was perfect! My chicken was a little dry -over cooked- and I mentioned it to the owner who immediately comped our desert. We will be... More

One of my favorite restaurants on 30A. Great Italian food while at the beach. The pasta dishes are all excellent. The three meat Bolognese is a must have. . I prefer the chicken piccata, which I had earlier tonight, and it was awesome. They also make an amazing Caesar salad. I always go yo Borago's when down on 30A. 👍

Have not been to Borago in about 4 years. I am sitting at the bar....waiting, waiting, waiting. ...I am sure that our order will eventually arrive.

My husband is Italian, so his standards are high. His dinner at Borago literally brought tears to his eyes. ("Just like Grandma used to make.") We were in heaven after the appetizers, including arroncini (honestly, the best I've ever had), veal meatballs, scallops with polenta, and fresh-baked bread. We took advantage of our waiter's suggestion to order half-portions of entrees... More

We've been dining here for over 10 years. Every trip to the beach includes dinner at Borago. We usually dine here on our first night. We always have the veal meatballs and the sea scallops appetizers which are both served over soft cheese polenta. They are outstanding as well as the entrees. one of my favorite dishes is the Angel... More

We were tired of fish and junk food at the beach. We sat at the bar and the service was awesome. We will return tonight, it was that good. Nice selection of wines and great bar. Bolognese with tortellini was the best. Steak, pork loin, were great. Show up early or be sure you make a reservation it fills up... More
