Others in our party really enjoyed the lobster crepes and the curried octopus.

We enjoyed trying octopus, scallops, charcoal steaks. Waiter could have been a lot friendlier and more knowledgeable about the menu. Kids' pasta was a mouse-portion. Ice cream excellent. Cake the size of a mini muffin. Phenomenal spinach salad -- tasted as if it were just picked. Waiter had no idea where any of the food was from. For the price,... More

We had a wonderful dinner here. It was a very pleasant room, and the food was superb. I had fish stew that was among the best dishes I've ever had, and the spinach/strawberry said also was terrific. You can spend a very pleasant evening here.

The cooking is creative, excellent, but not the customary cuisine. Be prepared for a unique culinary experience. Some come in half price portions and allow, as a result, experimentation.

Sanibel has mostly tourist restaurants, but we were happy to finally find a place with excellent food. We ordered multiple appetizers and entrees and all of them were beautifully presented and delicious. Can recommend the beef tartar, hamachi, tuna, but the best dish by far was the duck breast (but one of ours was cooked perfectly, and the other too... More

Excellent service and a unique menu are the highlights. It is located on the busiest stretch of road on the island (Periwinkle) so you have that to contend with, but the food and quiet, romantic atmosphere inside makes up for it. The scallops were done to perfection, and the oven roasted cobia was outstanding. From the small plate section of... More

The food was delicious and loved the smaller plates we could share to try more. We had a beet salad, tuna, lobster and shrimp crepes and hamachi with plantains. All of the food was delicious, and they were also great about accommodating our children. Great service and food-highly recommend!

This was our first time eating at Sweet Melissa's. We had reservations on the patio. Wonderful!! Attentive waitress!! Fabulous from start to finish. We were not familiar with several Chardonnays so she brought us tastings. I had the fresh spinach salad with local strawberries, toasted almonds...fabulous!! My husband had the beer salad...loved it!! Loved the small plates...I had the scallops... More
