Recently went here with my wife and eldest daughter after reading reviews on trip advisor prior to leaving home (UK), can only say great things about the whole experience, ribs fantastic, veal meat loaf to die for really moist, perfectly cooked veg (al denté), fabulous Pinot Noir and our wonderful friendly helpful Thai waitress, apologies my memory is not what... I went here with my family and I ordered ribs. The ribs were amazing. The music and atmosphere was nice and the dessert was amazing. I would definitely come back any day.

We booked for 1o people for dinner for my daughter's meet & greet the future in-laws. Had to call day of dinner and chang it to 12 people. They were very gracious and we had a great table. Our server Brooke was wonderful. Drinks were a nice size, appetizers were delicious. I had crab cakes with a roasted corn salsa... More

After several average to good meals in Sanibel we decided to go to Traders on our last night. I was with my husband and best friends. I had ordered the macadamia encrusted grouper. It was very good. There was a side of basmati rice, mango salsa, vegetables and some Thai peanut sauce. I was enjoying the dish very much but... More

Please let me know if you have ever tasted White Gazpacho anywhere but Trader Vicks on Sanibel Island, Florida. If you have it could not be better than Chef Mike Patnode's heavenly chilled appetizer soup. It makes your eyes close with the delight on your palette. Too bad I never saw it served to other lunch hour diners. They surely... More

This was our last dinner on Sanibel, so we thought we would spend a little more and try one of the pricier choices on the island. The restaurant is modern, with a cavernous large dining room, with lots of windows, a bar area, and plenty of tables. We all ordered different entrees and salads. What was nice about the salads... First time to Traders but went thanks to local knowledge and how right the regulars were. We went as a family and there was something on the wide, varied menu for everyone. Service was exceptional and provided crayons and paper for the little one. It is an island menu with a difference - a bit of spice added to fish... More

My husband and I enjoyed a very tasty meal and were impressed by the professional and friendly service provided by our waitress, Leslie. From the lobster stuffed ravioli served with the red snapper special to the tasty creme brûlée for dessert, the food was prepared with care and expertise. We look forward to returning.

Great service and food! One of the only bars open late on the island. Fun t- shirts too! Very nice decor and big menu.
