The evening of September 14 my boyfriend and I decided to have dinner at The Jacaranda. We sat at the bar in the screened patio lounge. For an appetizer we decided on the spinach dip. Delicious! Each bite was sizzling with cheese and bacon! For an entree the tortellini with scallops and shrimp was excellent and plentiful. Service by the... More

My wife and I had dinner here. The atmosphere was good and the menu had a number of good choices. Our server did not seem to be very familiar with the menu nor could offer any recommendations. I had the crab cakes and she had seafood pasta. The food was good but not outstanding...feel like I could get this quality... More

We have frequented this restaurant many times over the last several years and have yet to have anything but an excellent experience. Always great service, food and a totally wonderful experience.

We actually tried to go to two other restaurants before the Jacaranda, but they were closed. We decided to give this one a try, and we were pleased. Our server was exceptional. There were linen tablecloths and linen napkins and it was not your typical "beach" themed restaurant. Most certainly on the "higher end". It was a bit pricy, but... More

We ate here our first night on Sanibel. We had just arrived, it was dinner time, we were hungry and wanted seafood. We didn't know our way around were also discovering that we came in a slow month (September) and some restaurants were not open. After trying 2 places that we had picked out that were NOT open, my husband... More

We enjoyed our meal here, with very attentive and friendly staff. The food was first class as well. Cocktails were made by someone who knew what they were doing.

Read many reviews for many places. This one was close by and it was a winner. Service and food were both outstanding.

I've never eaten at the restaurant, but thoroughly enjoy the bar. It's one of the few "late night" places on the island (they close around midnight). There is usually some kind of live music on the weekends and often during the week as well. Great fun for drinking and dancing with friends.

First time for us and the meal was wonderful. I had the scallops and my wife had the tuna. Service was above average and the food was great. The happy hour 5 -7 (only in the lounge) is for 1/2 price drinks and $6 appetizers. Go here first then get a table.

We have visited twice in the past week and on both occasions the food and service have been very good. The ambience is relaxing and there is a separate bar area with live music Of particular note are the skewered prime rib appetiser and the grouper.
