No Question - Best place on the Island

We were in Ft Myers and drove to Sanibel 3 times (and paid the toll 3 times) to go to Jacaranda. Absolute fun place in the evening. Twice we went for drinks and dancing; the crowd was older, no surprise, but were acting half their age, big surprise. Last time we arrived before 7PM and most... read more

We came to this restaurant because of the reviews on trip advisor. We walk in and our thoughts were out dated and cramped. We did not have reservations and were seated in the front dining room. It was hot and extremely uncomfortable at first. The waitress was even more awkward, but very friendly. As we received our stuffed mushrooms appetizer,... More

Back to the Jac for our SB family dinner before they return north. Food and service was great, no rushing you out, We had the wine room which is great if you want a quiet secluded area. We had the filet, stone crabs, and king crab legs, and they are very accommodating for changes for the kids meals. The desert... More

We took friends here a few years ago. The service took forever and the food was mediocre. A friend took us this time to show us how much she likes the place. Patrick didn't seat us where she had requested. The service took forever. My husband's steak special was extra tough and my snapper was nothing special although the mango... More

We have gone to the Jac whenever we go to Sanibel. It is our favourite spot to eat. We have never had a bad meal. Service has been up and down depending on server and how busy they are. Never terrible. Food always good no matter how bus they are. We had crab stuffed grouper and it was heavenly. Even... More

We sat in the back room where the live music played. What a great time! We all enjoyed our meals and then proceeded to dance the night away. Very good entertainment :-)

We visited this restaurant on our first night in Sanibel. Because of traffic, it took us longer than expected to get to the island, so we came across this place and decided to give it a try. We did not have reservations, but they were able to get us in on a Saturday night. The atmosphere and food were great,... More

We went to the Jacaranda restaurant for the first time this March. What a find! The food was delicious - especially the sea bass. It was served with grilled julienne vegetables and rice that were the perfect match. We will certainly visit this restaurant the next time we stay on Sanibel.

My husband and I enjoyed dinner at the Jacaranda on March 15. Everything about our experience was good. I enjoyed a Key Lime Martini (tastes just like Key Lime Pie with a twist). Our appetizer was crab stuffed mushrooms, followed by a green salad with cranberry vinaigrette dressing, entree of parmesan encrusted snapper and finally key lime pie for dessert.... More

This is a friend's favorite restaurant in Sanibel and we were delighted to join her for a wonderful meal. The service and the food were perfect and the wine selection was excellent! The grouper special and the crab legs were especially nice! We will go again!
