My wife and I had the filet w/lobster, and filet w/shrimp. Both of liked the filet, while finding the lobster ok and the shrimp very bland. I ended up dipping shrimp in wife's butter. We ate at Jacaranda on Memorial Day, 2009. We came early in the evening and the restaurant was not very full. We were given a choice of seating preference (and in deference to the heat chose to stay inside), and immediately brought water and bread. We were recommended to eat here on our vacation. The atmosphere was nice, we sat outside which was screened in. We had the best waiter ever! Our food was excellent and the price was very reasonable. This restaurant is casual dining. I will definately go back. more

Well, average and over priced seem to be par for the course on Sanible and Captiva and The Jacaranda was no exception.
