Stopped by here on our 1st night on the island (just arrived from the UK) feeling shattered but the servers here were fab and quick getting the food out which was great because we just needed our bed.! Food is great fare and nice cold beer just what we needed, can see why it's a popular place. Look forward to... More

We went with my brother and sister in law and had a good meal. We had 2 appetizers- conch fritters and cheese sticks, 4 entrees- a burger, grouper sandwich, fried oysters and a shrimp basket and 2 pieces of caramel cheese cake for dessert (It was to die for). The total bill was $112 which also included 2 sodas and... More

We stopped for lunch. We both had the grouper. My husband had the sandwich and I had the Caesar salad. Had to send the salad back as it was drenched in dressing but the fish was well prepared though it was a small piece of fish on both the salad and the sandwich. No problem sending the salad back. The... More

This was our first stop on vacation, and it didn't disappoint. We were all tired from a long day of traveling and the atmosphere was fun and laid back. It was exactly what we needed! Good beer selection, and my kids loved the food. The frisbees are a nice souvenir as well.

Love the food. Service left something to be desired this trip. Every other trip previously, the service was excellent.

Best grouper on the island. caeser salad is excellent . Nice selection of beers and wine. The food In the Captiva location seemed to be slightly better, but there is no table service there. It is a must Stop for lunch or dinner when you are on the Island.

1st stop when coming to the island. Ron is a great manager and friendly to the customers. Always comes by to see the kids with his flamingo hat. Food is the best on the island. Grouper basket, clam chowder and flamingo bread are our absolute favorites.

We ate here for our first meal on the island. The restaurant has two locations and ours was the one nearest the lighthouse. The outside of the building was what I term 'Old Florida' and very inviting. The ambience inside nice as well. The service was excellent with the server having no problem finding the answers to my food questions... More

We go to Sanibel every year and Lazy Flamingo is always the first place we go to. The restaurant is pure old Florida. The kind of place that used to be on every road side, but are hard to find these days. We started with a basket of grouper bits then we ordered wings and a basket of fries. The... More
