In season you can't easily get a table at this seafood / raw bar, but in November we strolled right in on a Sunday night at 8pm. Watched the football game on TV had some beers (they only have beer) and then chowed down on some fried grouper sammies! Do yourself a favor and don't order the clam chowder, it... More

This place didn't blow me away, but it was still pretty good. The service was very friendly. The food was good. The atmosphere was the average beach bar. This place is family friendly.

Have been to both Sanibel and captiva locations. Captiva much better location, across from the beach versus on the stripmall strip, but otherwise about the same. Captiva seems a little more rustic, in a good way, atmospherically. Sanibel has outdoor seating so you can watch the incessant traffic. Fish is delicious, beer and wine selections pathetic, decor Disney and service... More

My husband had been here twice before so wanted to take me there. A bright pink building under the palms, it is a fun, convenient place for Conch Fritters or most of your favorite seafood at amazingly low prices for Sanibel Island!! Wine and beer only, but a decent selection!!

Been to Sanibel five times now and never ate at the Lazy Flamingo. My hairdresser told me it was her favorite place to eat when she vacations at Sanibel so we decided to give it a try. We have been missing out. After eating seafood for several days, I decided to try their Grilled Chicken Sandwich and OMG, it was... More

Casual atmosphere, locals and tourists...mesquite salmon and tuna entrees were delicious. A good value.

We are usually here during October so the Flamingo is a must on Saturday and Sunday. TVs galore. A plus is that the drinks are very reasonable and the food is very good for a sports bar. This time they had exceptional oysters on the half shell and clam chowder which made a perfect meal while watching the Redskins lose... More

The Lazy Flamingo is like going back in time to the old Florida. Pink restaurant with a lot of character and characters who eat their. It is loud and fun with food that is fresh as you can get. Great selection of craft beers on draft and plenty of others in the bottle. A fun laid back place that one... More

Has to be eight years since I visited Sanibel and this restaurant. I was not disappointed! Our fare was simple: burger, chicken fingers, chowder and fries, but it was done well and with flavor. Ok and those fries were the best on the island! I would definitely put this restaurant in your list of restaurants to try for casual dining.

If Lazy Flamingo 2 is a restaurant with a bar, then this is much more of a bar that sells food. Certainly that's the atmosphere we felt. We walked in there were no table, but we chatted to the friendly barman (with the beard) and he told us we could sit at the bar or wait for a table probably... More
