Enjoyed the grilled grouper, conch fritters, and key lime pie. Food was good, service was unexpectedly laid back, atmosphere is very casual. We ate here twice in a weeklong stay in Captiva where good restaurants are hard to find. Glad we found this place.

Loved the food (conch fritters for me, grouper for my husband), the service was wonderful and very attentive, good choices for beer - I'd definitely return.

This is a really great, down to earth bar restaurant. Child friendly, relaxed and brilliant value for money. I had the blackened salmon which was lovely. Service is New York style, fast attentive and good on the upsell. Customers were a mix of families and groups - good basic fun

I eat lunch here frequently because I trust the food quality. I generally have the grouper sandwich because the tartar sauce is to die for. You'll order extra just to dip your fries! Good eating.

The Lazy Flamingo on Pine Ave on Sanibel is an easy, casual joint for casual food. We had beers and fish. The Mahi was on special and was far superior to the grouper. The grouper was extremely boney. Don't expect high end cusine but it is a fun reliable alternative when you are sick of cooking.

If you are looking for a laid back, chill atmosphere for a quick bite of deliciousness, then this is the place. The stone crab claws and grouper sandwich was superb!!

Here with my wife at 8 after beach on a Monday. Here on my brothers recommendation. No waiting line and asked to sit outside as indoor was incredibly loud. Told no tables outside and taken to table surrounded by high tops. Must have been some kind of family reunion as all tables around us were talking over us to each... More

We went fishing that day and the captain told us to bring out fish to the Flamingo, it was worth it, prepared two ways and very tasty, atmosphere was worth witnessing, we sat at the bar and could watch it all, oysters, fried conch and our fish for two $50 that included the beer

Oh my - appetizer of shrimp were awesome! Very big and great flavor. Claim strips were the special - best choice. Also had the kids burger. He's very picky and he rated it high on his list. Served on a frisbee and Oreo cookies for his dessert. So we had to try the Key Lime pie! - oh my- delightful!!... More
