A Pleasant Place to Eat

This restaurant is popular with both tourists and natives, and for good reason. It is a pleasant lively spot, but one can hear oneself talk. The unlikely shrimp with grits turned out to be one of the best, if richest, dishes I have tried in a long time.

My family and I (10 ppl) came to the restaurant for breakfast and were seated within 10 min even though we had a large party. The food was amazing and quick. Service was attentive. Best part=The bill was soooo affordable compared to other island restaurants.

The Island Cow has a huge menu with plenty of variety. I was seated outside for a late lunch and my waiter was out-going and considerate...and helpful as it turned out. I was back at the hotel when I realized I'd left my only credit card at the restaurant. I called immediately, remembering my waiter's name (Kyle) who had found... More

This is an "Island" theme with a major focus on cows! We really enjoyed it. Hugh menu of all kinds of food including fresh local seafood. I had an Island Cow Pie. Their version of a Sheppard's pie. Quality ingredients and hugh. I couldn't finish it. In fact only one of our party of 4 finished their meal. My wife... More

This place offers excellent service and a large menu with reasonable prices. The fish was amazing! It is small but worth visiting for some great food!

We have had breakfast, our favorite, lunch, and dinner at the Island Cow. We have never been disappointed. They offer a large menu of creative choices for each meal. The portions are large the prices are right, and the quality is excellent. The location is convenient, mid island. We often ride our bikes to breakfast and work it off with... More

We enjoyed supper here two nights and came back the another day for breakfast. My wife ordered a seafood plate which she really enjoyed. It was almost more than she could eat and it was delicious, she said. Being from Kentucky, I should have known better than to order a barbecue combo plate at a restaurant that specializes in seafood.... More

Great food! Staff was friendly, we ate both inside and outside, loved both ways, but outside was my favorite. Lots to look at, and games to play! Their crab was amazing!

This restaurant had been recommended to us as one of those good places to eat that did not look like it from the outside. We had the White/Mango Sangria for drinks and the Blackened MahiMahi and Baked Crab Stuffed Gulf Shrimp for entrees. You are served muffins when seated. We really enjoyed our late lunch/early dinner here. Our server (Ryan)... More
