We went there for breakfast and their menu has a lot of interesting selections, but we went with the yogurt parfait. It was served in a banana split dish with an assortment of raspberries, blueberries, cantaloupes and grapes mixed with granola. The muffin of the day was a lemon poppy muffin, split in half and grilled. This was a great... More

First time in Sanibel and we happened to stop in the cafe as we were shopping in the area and were very happy with the choice! The wait staff was very nice and provided good service, the tabletops are interesting and overall it is a fun place. I ordered the chicken salad with grapes on the croissant, really good and... More

We had breakfast here and the food was very good. It was great food and great value. The tabletops were very interesting as they were glass covered with shell designs underneath, using shells native to Sanibel Island.

Was on Sanibel for vacation with family. Our time and meal at Sanibel Café were great experiences. My crunchberry salad and grilled grouper were excellent. Thank you to Roxy our server, she was very personable and professional. The place is lively, lots of big screens around the bar.

All I can say, is that the food was not worth the price. Dinners are cheaper than this breakfast. Sodas $2.50 and it was horrible. I had to ask them 3 times for a different soda, I finally gave up. Will never go back. We ended up buying groceries and making breakfast in our hotel room for 1/4 the price.

Homemade it is, chicken salad, speciality sandwiches, breakfast, waffles and pancakes oh my. My favorite is a scoop of chicken salad/scoop of tuna salad and a array of fresh fruit on a lettuce bed. I ate every bite. You are met at the door, seated, and the service begins. Katie will be there, or her Dad who owns the place.... More

We went in for lunch and were sat near the back. I am not sure if the AC was running, broken, or just not turned on enough but it was incredibly hot in the cafe. We asked to move near the middle where the fans were and the host graciously agreed but by that time our appetites were a bit... More

Granted we didn't have the much raved about breakfast but the lunch was nothing to write home about. My husband liked the tuna salad but my club wrap was only memorable because it was soggy and bland. For the prices and all the hype we expected more. Might be an idea to stick the breakfast menu or find another spot... More

There's a wide choice on the menu, the food's fresh, and the portions are large - we split a sandwich meal and were glad we did as half was plenty. Good service - refills appeared without asking and splitting a meal was no problem. The cafe's well furnished with deli-style booths and an island feel to it. Glad we stopped... More

Everything from the attention from staff to the food screams local! The home made raspberry jelly is to die for! The french toasts and kids loved the French toasts and pancakes. Philly steak omelette was OK. I will make this a place to visit if you're in the area.
