Came here after being referred by local bartender….disappointed Nothing jumped out on an overpriced menu; so we stayed for beer oysters/sashimi. Decided to stop by Jerry’s and make our own grouper. Oysers: eh. Red Snapper sashimi: GOOD. Inside, a bit drafty, bright, and far too big for my taste. Beware of restaurants with busy, big, laminated menus.

This place goes all out on everything seafood. Try out their tuna, grouper, or shrimp entrees. They are probably the best on the island of Sanibel! Enjoy!

The atmosphere was lovely and I appreciated that it was a 'no cell phone' dining area. Our server did not come to the table often and I had to ask someone else for more water. The Fish Salad was very tasty but my grouper left a lot to be desired. It was tasteless. My son's meal was very good though.... More

Timbers has operated for many years on Sanibel. We went there last night. SERVICE: lackadaisical. Need I say more. FOOD: if you can no longer taste food, it might go through as not half bad. My taste buds still function, and I found no taste. The vegetables were boiled and without any flavor whatsoever. The sea bass was expensive ($32.00).... More

Had a lovely meal with the family while vacationing in Sanibel earlier this month. Plates are generous though a bit on the pricey side. Overall a delicious meal !!

So the good was good, the waitress was "eh" but the pie??? Key lime pie was worth the trip. Mmmmmm. It was fantastic. My husband said it was the best he ever had.

We have eaten at Timbers for some 9 years at least twice a week. The food is awesome, the service and décor the same. You can just stop in to buy fresh fish and shrimp right there on ice.I have celebrated two birthdays there. I have taken friends there. Will continue to do so as long as I visit Sanibel,... More

Crispy Grouper Reuben Sandwich was a disappointment. The taste of overused fry oil spoiled the dish, and probably other fried entrees in the house as well. Suggest you contact Boston's Seafood in Winter Park, FL for advice here.

Stopped in for dinner with wife and kids. Hit the early bird before 6. Prices were good. The kids loves both of their meals. Chicken nuggets and grilled cheese were best kids meal so far on the island. Adult meals were good with some bread, salad and dinner. Would recommend. Good food.

This was our 2nd visit. We came 2 years ago and I think it was better tonight than it was back then. I got the seared tuna and put it on my ceasar salad it was out of this world!
