Trendy place and much to crowded. I went to see what the fuss was about and ordered a rum drink off their menu. You pay for the drink $$ but help me if I could even taste the rum. Had dinner there which was average and costly.

This is our much favored dining spot every time we come to Sanibel. The shrimp dishes here are excellent but then again everything I have aver ate here has made me happy. Docs has that laid back island attitude about it that I love so much. The selection of rums is amazing. My wife likes the Sanibel sunset drink.

Best all around! Get the beach or island bread and Yucatan shrimp. We eat here at least twice on our vacation.

Seriously, it was all good. I wish I had some of those crispy fish fingers right now! Island bread was also good. My husband says the clam chowder was the best he's had, and we vacationed in Maine last year. I can highly recommend the shrimp and grits! Overall a great experience.

If your a fan of Author Randy Wayne White and his main man Doc Ford this is the place to eat! Even if you've never heard of Doc (WHAT?) You still need to visit and partake of Carribbean fare that beats all the others in South or Southwest Florida. The original resteraunt is located on fabulous and famous Sanibel Island... More

Very nice restaurant, nice decor, staff friendly and attentive. Food delicious, drinks awesome. Fresh seafood, oysters were yummy. Get there early or there will be a wait time. After six it gets very busy.

This was our first dinner on the island, as we were craving fish tacos. They were very good and we recommend. They come with rice and black beans. Although my husband ate the rice and beans, I felt they had a little 'kick' to them which is must me, and I left the majority on the plate. There was something... More

We had an impatient child with us and the waiter got us a child's plate in within the next 1or 2 minutes. Waiter was great food was better than I remembered! Menu updated well and had good choices (even for the vegetarian in the group).
