We enjoyed our meal thoroughly! The appetizer of seafood nachos were excellent and tasty. Nicely spiced and not the same old "nachos". Was very disapointed. I ordered the parmesean chicken sandwich. The sandwich is topped with some pickled onions. Within the pickled onions was a pickled german cockroach, that I almost ate! Positively the worst mojito ever, and I really don't think there was any rum in there, yet the cost was $5.75. I would be willing to pay that price for equal value in return. Doc Ford's was a nice sports type bar and grill. The food was ok, not great. The margarita's were wonderful however! Wonderfully expensive too. If you like Randy Wayne White and his writing its a must see on your trip to Sanibel. If you're looking for a good meal, try someplace else. more
