This is a standard stop when we head to Sanibel. Joint is always hopping and you can be guaranteed fresh seafood will be delicious when it arrives to your table. Wait may be longer on busy nights but well worth the wait.

We enjoyed the LF II so much we ate there for lunch both days we were on Sanibel Island! The caesar salad with grouper was outstanding, as was my fish sandwich the second day! Service was great… enjoyed sitting outside. Menu isn't extensive, but what they do, they do VERY well! I would totally recommend it! Just as a footnote…... More

We stop here as soon as we get to the island and don't have any groceries at home. The 1/2 Caesar with Grouper is AWESOME. It comes with sinful garlic bread. A half salad is plenty for an adult. It's not fine dining (they have a roll of paper towels on the tables instead of napkins) but the food is... More

My wife suggested the place because of all the Christmas decorations outside. There are so many that you can't miss it on Periwinkle. We were there on Thanksgiving weekend, the place was packed. We both ordered the grilled grouper sandwich which was really tasteful. Even though it was crowded, we were served rapidly in just a few minutes. Our waitress... More

We tried the Lazy Flamingo and enjoyed the food. We had a problem with a delay in our food being brought to the table but the manager came to our table and apologised gave us a $25 gift card & free drinks and dessert. He asked that we come again (we could have used the gift card that evening) but... More

All 3 ordered clam chowder very good. Fried shrimp good but not the best around. My friend ordered the crab claws. She had them warm. She said they tasted like they were reheated. 4 claws for $21 a little pricey. Beers were cold. Overall average nothing really stood out but the clam chowder

Clam chowder is amazing, Flamingo bread with marinara is outstanding, plus Ron the manager and staff are the best on the island. Outside seating is great, even in the summer.

This restaurant has a bar feel to it, staff were really nice even happy to give us a menu to browse the night before we visited. I had the ribs when we did visit with fires and coleslaw, I was stuffed but just about managed a slice of key lime pie for desert. This isn't flash or pretentious like some... More

The best part of this place is by far the staff. Our waitresses were very friendly and helpful. I was not a fan of eating on paper plates and using plastic knives and forks. I went there to watch a football game, however they would not turn on any volume. The food was adequate, however not outstanding. I had ribs... More
