Cozy!

We went to the Lazy Flamingo in Santiva - and it is small - like 7 tables small but has a good size bar to eat at as well. It is very laid back - order at the bar and they call your name to get your food from the bar. It was perfect for us with a 11 and... read more

This is a basic bar with greasy food and seafood. It attracts a lot of tourists due to its location on the main drag but it is not in the same seafood league as Sanibel Grille or Timbers. If you like greasy food with beer though this is the place on Sanibel for that.

We brought our freshly caught fish in so they could prepare it. It was so easy & we had so much food at a very reasonable price! Family friendly!

Our children love this place. I'm not sure why, since it's very much a bar. Perhaps because their food is served in a frisbee and they get oreos? Seriously, the food is wonderful. I love the grilled grouper and the fried shrimp. I haven't eaten anything I didn't enjoy. We had very attentive servers. We will definitely eat her again... More

Yum! Such character! Such history! And, yummy island food. I have been here many, many times during vacations to Sanibel and Captiva Islands. My hubby and I LOVE the burgers cooked to order and the fries are THE BEST! Of course, we had them on this trip. The conch fitters were good too. The grouper bites were ok. Beer and... More

We stopped by to try the dead parrot wings, which are extremely spicy but have flavor. Great place for wings and fries! Loved it!

My bf and I were in town for 4 nights and decided to try this place first after seeing it on our way into Sanibel. If you love oysters, clams, and other raw & cooked seafood this is the place. Casual dining, family atmosphere. I had fried shrimp in the basket, it was so good and the shrimp are huge!... More

This is the kind of place that reminds you of old Florida. Laid back but busy. We had the raw Oysters, Clam Chowder, boiled Shrimp, Flamingo bread and their Hamburger. All were very good to excellent. This is a fun place that caters to all walks of life and is family friendly. loud and colorful with very good service. Been... More

This is one of the few places on Sanibel Island that doesn't clear out at 9 p.m. and while the server that took our order was fantastic, her shift ended while we were still on appetizers and it took 45 minutes for us to place an order which so annoyed us that we ended up taking it to go.
