The scenery was amazing but that was all. Menu was very impressive with description of dinners but once food was served it was less than tasty. I ordered the triple crab cake special and my husband had the balsamic reduction tuna. Crab cakes were very fishy and dry. Potato croquette lacked flavor and veggies were mediocre. My husbands tuna which... More

Right on the Sanibel Marina, Gramma Dot's is a must visit for us. I know I should try something different, but the Curried Lobster Salad is so delicious that I have to order it every time. My husband likes the Clam Chowder and grouper sandwich. Save room for key lime pie, because it is very good. Get there early to... More

We had lunch at Gramma Dot's during our vacation in Sanibel. The snapper sandwich was good but what we liked the best was the clam chowder. OMG! the best I've ever had!

Great spot for a great grouper sandwich and the best key lime pie ever! The service is quick and friendly and the food is fresh.

Stopped by this place near the marina and went back two days later. The fried oysters are the best I've ever had. The dipping sauce has dill and was so perfect. Service also great. Tried the coconut shrimp and a fried lobster special they were running also, both also good. Great view of the boats in the marina.

Thought this would be a typical fried seafood spot. Wrong. Well, they do fried-food, albeit very, very well. Sample platter (coconut shrimp, crab meatball, fried oysters) was DELICIOUS. The oysters were ever-so-lightly fried, thus the oyster flavor remained. Crab balls were very meaty. Shrimp were HUGE. The dipping sauces were varied and complimentary. Blackened grouper sandwich was the best grouper... More

Great chowder and very good burger. Nice being at the marina. The service was very good. We ate here after a ride onthe Sanibel Thriller.

We visited Granma Dot's for lunch with a view, we made the right choice. The fish & chips were very good and being right on the intercoastal was an extra perk!

This place is off the beaten path at the marina which I guess is just northwest of the lighthouse. I think it's a great little find -- atmosphere is totally casual, the restaurant is waterside, with views of the boats, waterway, and causeway to the island. Seafood was fresh and tasty. Presentation was fancier than one would expect at the... More

We had just arrived in Sanibel, during a torrential rain storm, and the hostess at our hotel suggested to go here for lunch. A bit expensive, but really good. Had the soft shell crab sandwich, which was out of this world! Iced tea was great as well. Not stingy on portions either
