If all you want is deep fried fish, this is the place. appetizers were terrible. the grouper fish sandwhich was not the greatest. wait staff however, was very friendly. they only serve beer and wine. paper cups for the beer. more

Just left Sanibel after a great time there. We visited Gramma Dot's several times during our stay. It's not upscale, air conditioned or large. What it DOES provide is very good food close to the water, with an attentive wait staff. It's the place we long for during our cold winters. Love that coconut shrimp, oysters and grouper! more

We have eaten here more than once while staying on Sanibel Island.
