Having been visitors to Sanibel for over 10 years we have always made it a point to visit the Lighthouse Cafe for breakfast and have enjoyed it each time. Today was a different story, the food was fine but the prices for some of the items were ridiculous. One of the things we noticed was no kids menu so therefore... More

Really enjoyed our breakfast here on our last day in Sanibel. Of the three main breakfast places in Sanibel this is the best. I had eggs Benedict with a homemade key lime hollandaise, although the hollandaise could have used a little more flavor it was delicious. My eggs were cooked perfectly and the ham was tasty. The home fries served... More

Last meal before leaving the island for home and decided to go with breakfast. Good choice. Loved the malted pancakes. The service was excellent too. Give it a try the next time your on the island. You can't go wrong. And if the wait is long, there's a nice shop with lots of items to browse and you can hear... More

We have ate here several times in our visits to Sanibel and the breakfast is really good. The orange juice is fresh squeezed and my husband loves the hash browns. The decor is pictures of lighthouses from all over.

We go for breakfast in the Lighthouse Cafe every time we're on Sanibel and we never noticed any drop in terms of quality or service. The home made strawberry preserve is absolutely fantastic, service quick and food in general of good quality. We like the decoration with lighthouse pictures, photos and frames about lighhouses all around the world. There are... More

The place sure draws a crowd! The French toast (apparently once mentioned in a famous foodie magazine) was good but not outstandingly so. My husband loved his blueberry hotcakes, which were heavy on the blueberries. Good spot for a family breakfast out.

We were warned in advance about how good, and generous the breakfast portions were. Tiny building, with lots of tables, light house photos and efficient service.

Breakfast at the Lighthouse Cafe was undoubtedly the peak of my family's little weekend vacation. The eggs were prepared to perfection, the potatoes were delectable, and their specialty jelly made my toast taste incredible! We will absolutely be returning here on my next stay in Sanibel

We hit the beach early today and decided to stop at the Lighthouse Cafe (where it is always busy). Our wait this morning, less than 3 minutes, proved to be an excellent choice for breakfast (served all day), with a friendly and courteous staff and manager. My wife ordered the Coconut French Toast and I the Hungry Fisherman Omelet. Both... More

This was our second favorite breakfast spot. The place is a bit on the small/cramped side. However the food was fast and fresh. The Orange Juice is local and fresh squeezed, a big plus. Had the Ham Benedict which was different and a nice surprise. It came on a croissant instead of the traditional English muffin and was served with... More
