Birthday Bloodys!

Although there was a 45 minute wait for brunch, it was well worth the wait! We all got the breakfast sandwich with bacon. The potatoes were the BEST I've ever had. The Bloody Mary's were definitely the highlight - made with Sake! It cost about $20 per person, as there were 3 of us dining. It's a... read more

Loved this place so much-- we had to go several times! Everything on the menu is delicious!! Thankfully our four kids ordered different items to get a little taste. Mimosas are fabulous! Customer service fabulous! You cannot go to Sanibel without stopping by!

The place was packed but we only had to wait about 20 minutes on a Saturday morning! If you like eggs benedict, get theirs that comes with a mountain of seafood instead of Canadian Bacon and alfredo sauce instead of bernaise all on a criossant instead of English Muffin. I will never forget this amazing meal! Make sure to get... More

This was our first trip to Sanibel Island, and we went to the Lighthouse Cafe for breakfast, having never heard of it. The food was very tasty and was really awesome. Everyone there was very friendly, and it was a cozy, family atmosphere. It was busy, but there was no wait for a table on a Thursday morning. The food... More

My husband, 3 kids and I had a late breakfast here. We experienced prompt seating; the food was very good, and the service was friendly and quick. The cafe has a nice atmosphere, and my kids enjoyed looking at the all the lighthouse pictures on the walls.

Every annual trip to Sanibel includes several stops at Lighthouse Cafe for their awesome breakfasts. Good variety of egg dishes, waffles and pancakes as well as specials. Great friendly service as well. There is often a wait, but you can call ahead and get your name on "the list" to save some time. Highly recommend having a meal here. They... More

Many recommend the Lighthouse Cafe, especially for breakfast, and rightly so. We arrived early on a Monday, and there were patrons at only one other table. The service was fine -- three different waitresses attended our table. I tried the Lighthouse Special Omelet, while my wife ordered the Hungry Fisherman Omelet. Both were very good, as were the fried potatoes... More

Jumbo Eggs cooked just right. Delicious jam for your toast. No wait on a weekday in July. Great service. But I've been there on a Sunday morning and the wait is over an hour......that's what quality and service does for a business.

We have visited in past and similar experience. Food is average and overpriced. Service was fine but too many other places that are better.

We stop here every time we visit Sanibel. Breakfasts are outstanding. The homemade strawberry jam is divine and the breakfast potatoes are some of the best I've had. However, the wait can be insane.
