stumbled here to kill time as we were too early to check into our condo on the property next door. Happy hour from 3-5 everyday, otherwise a bit on the pricey side. Bartender Casey was extremely polite and accomdating. Frozen drinks were solid (not literally, but like, super good, ya know?) although the food was ehh. Chicken tenders were sinewy,... More

This is the poolside bar and short-menu part of the Thistle Lodge at Casa Ybel. Limited item menu, done well (mostly "hand food" in baskets, with a few salads added). Pool and grounds of Casa Ybel make this an appealing venue. Service is on the slow side, but this appears to be a continuing kitchen problem; Coconuts' staff is attentive,... More

After exploribg Sanibel by cycle, we wanted a causal lunch by the beach. Found the Casa Ubel Resort and one of their restaurants, Coconut. As it was 4th of July weekend they had a pool side buffe. Just great service with refills just in time needed, great bar food. Great location, took a stroll along the beach afterwards and also... More

Loved that the adults could have a drink while the kids played in the pool. Happy Hour is a must!! Wonderul Mudslides and strawberry daqueries. Kids enjoyed the smoothie (vanilla was awesome)

Really great group working at Coconuts. Chris was fantastic with his always happy and funny attitude! Pretty good food. Only draw back is slightly high prices.

Lunch by the pool is as expected from a resort. Food average but service was very good and friendly. They have signs saying Coconuts is open to public but not the pool or beach. Is this a joke? More likely a concession to uptight time share owners. How can we not jump in? So we e did anyway and enjoyed... More

We came to Coconuts for a late lunch and enjoyed ourselves. We both had the grouper sandwich, one with regular fries and the other with sweet-potato fries. Although you are eating poolside, the food is prepared in the main restaurant and the price is much reduced. The serving was very generous, and we never had to have supper. The blackened... More

We came back for the tuna tacos and were not disappointed! Delicious, with slight asian-fusion Influence. We were planning to have lunch again this trip, but the weather has turned cool, and the seating is all poolside. so, we will just have to wait until next year, Or bundle up!

Try happy hour - 3pm to 5pm every day. Beer for $2.75 and cocktails for $4.75. We made good use of free soft drink refills. Buy one in morning and drink all day for free!
