Great dining

Had dinner here with my wife. The food was great (the ribeye was one of the best I've had). Good ambient and friendly staff. The prices are a bit high though. Food and drinks were great.

Shockingly awful service the mains arrived as we were eating our starter and the waitress was rude and aggressive "well we cook quick" " well I can take them back and put them under the hot plate for 30 secs until you finish". Food over cooked, dry and extremely overpriced.

Went for breakfast b/c it was just a walk from where we were staying. Belgian waffle with whipped cream and strawberries came w/ whipped butter and no strawberries. Omelet w/ tomato slices on the side came sans tomatoes. Service was good. Only 1 other couple in there at about 10 a.m. on a weekday.

My husband and I, along with our two daughters (ages 14 and 8) stayed at the Sanibel Inn and ate at this restaurant our first night...what a mistake! The Sanibel Inn was great and we assumed the restaurant would be too. But, no - the restaurant was all-around bad. Food was terribly disappointing and prices were too high for what... More

Service was great and food was tasty. Great for breakfast when you don't want to cook and super for dinner after a long day at the beach.

The website for this restaurant is out of date, especially for breakfast items. The website menu lists several items not available on the menu given to you at the restaurant and the prices at the restaurant are significantly higher than those listed on the website menu. When I mentioned this discrepancy to the waitress, she said I probably was looking... More

Best sushi on the island. Aung is a master. It's a charming little place and totally unexpected. Chris know how to run a sushi bar!

We were on the island with family, looking for a place close to our hotel. The dated decor, reminiscent of an alpine chalet, didn't bode well, but the food turned out to be a nice surprise, particularly considering that many restaurants on Sanibel are overpriced and overrated. We tried a variety of seafood dishes, all fresh and tasty, as were... More

We got a window seat overlooking the tennis courts, very pretty. Food was very good and after four entrees, an appetizer and a couple of sodas and beer/wine, the bill came to under $90. We were very (pleasantly) surprised!

This place is a gem. The food and service are better than the top name tourist traps on Sanibel. One could actually relax and enjoy conversation without servers and expediters shouting and rushing you through your dinner. Thoroughly enjoy this place. Happy Hour prices are unbeatable. U hope this place doesn't change!
