I could have danced all night

If you'd enjoy a little music while you eat in a comfortable setting, this is the place for you. The food was excellent....some of the best we had in Sanibel, and a nice dance combo with a roomy dance floor made this a special evening. Valet parking made things even better. My wife and I are seasonal residents of Sanibel and during the winter months visit most of the restaurants several times. This was our 3rd visit to Traditions this winter and the food was between very good and excellent. The music was up to its usual high standards, particularly the sax player. The service was attentive, however the server spoiled... More

The cooking is excellent, the service top notch, and a good competitor to the Jacaranda which we believe are about the two best on Island. They have a piano and very nice singer with a dance floor. The numbers are varied, but dance-able. There is mandatory valet parking. This place is a must do for us several times during out... More

The WORST Easter dinner I have ever experienced! I would rate the food and ambience as a step above a fast food chain. What happened to the Island Inn that was a landmark on Sanibel 10 years ago? It WAS an inviting and charming Florida gem - a special night out on the Island. Fast forward to 2015: brown tables... More

From the time we walked in the door until we left we were treated as if we were special. The service was great, the food was delicious. Free valet parking. Got there before 6PM so we ordered from the sunset menu. This included our salad and a dessert. The Scottish salmon was superb.

The Julius Caesar salad and the duck were outstanding, some of the best I have had anywhere. Staff members lauded the early bird-special but were ambiguous/vague about when we had to be seated etc.; We made a point of getting there very early, only to find out that it didn't apply on the weekend. Apart from this annoyance, it was... More

It was a pleasant surprise to find this restaurant at our hotel, the Island Inn. Live music from a piano player and singer, broadway hits, and dancing! Like a country club on the beach! Food was excellent.

This restaurant has become a tradition with us. We love the food, sitting at the bar relaxing before our meal and having drinks. The bartenders are the best , especially Carlo. Stumbled into this place by accident for dinner. Worked out great! They had love music and I swear the lady singing was good enough to be on Broadway. Overall a great experience.
