Live entertainment, good service and great food

Stumbled into this place by accident for dinner. Worked out great! They had love music and I swear the lady singing was good enough to be on Broadway. Overall a great experience.

We got married at the island inn, the place where Traditions is located. Food was amazing. We had 4 options for our guests and everyone raved about everything! The filet was amazing! Yes, it's pricey but it's good food!!

After reading mixed reviews my wife and I were more than satisfied with Traditions. First...for all readers...they offer a fixed price meal for $27 dollars if you arrive before 6 PM. This looked like a real value. We arrived at 6:05 and were told we were too late; but if you're an early diner arrive between 5 to 6 PM.... More

If you like a large 1960's type touristy restaurant, semi rude waiters and so loud you have to talk loudly across a large round table,Traditions is your place. The food was delicious but the only way to survive the eve was to find it humorous! felt rushed and like a number. The female singer was extremely talented, she saved the night!!!

After a long day of traveling we settled on this restaurant which is part of our hotel, The Island Inn. It was convenient and easy. That was the best part. The food was average though with a good selection to choose from. There was entertainment on this particular Saturday night which at least made the atmosphere festive! The bread was... More

The Traditions restaurant is part of the old Island Inn on Sanibel. Every year we meet friends there for a Saturday night of great food, wine and music. Our host Andrea keeps everything humming. We were seated at 6:30 (asked whether we wanted close to the music or a quieter setting) - nice touch. Our server Josh was prompt, knowledgeable... More

Food was decent, but service was slow....it took 1 hour to get our dinner from the time we ordered it.

This places was attended on a Saturday evening at 7 pm. The place ws filled with an older crowd of Euro-American attendees. Service was behind as insufficient staff to take care of the number of people in attenance. Food was average, but nothing to rave about. Music was played during dinner of the show tune gnere which was very good.... More

I was appalled at the attempt to substitute the wine I ordered. I ordered a bottle of Antinori Orvietto Classico. This is a wine we have enjoyed on a trip to Orvietto, Italy. The waiter brought out a bottle of lower grade Orvietto Classico and proceeded to open it up without bringing it to my attention. When I asked about... More

My wife and I had dinner during our stay at Island Inn recently. They still have photos in the lobby about the history of the Inn, but restaurant is under separate management. Food was good, but not spectacular. Best feature was the live music with talented singer and piano player who covered a wide range of musical genres, from Motown... More
