My wife and I always stop at Pinocchio's on our annual Sanibel trip. The ice cream is delicious, the portions very generous, and the price is right. more

This is my favorite place to have ice cream in the evening on Sanibel. They have wonderful tasting home-made ice cream and unique flavors. No they do not have a 100 flavors like those chain ice cream places (so if that is what you want, don't go) - it is a small mom & pop ice cream store and perfectly... more

Enjoyed the ice cream, but wish they didn't make such huge & expensive servings. Even the kids size was huge. National Geographic was right to name Pinocchio's in the "The 10 Best of Everything Families" ice cream category for the Gulfcoast region. But we already knew that because we have been coming here for years. Forget the Key Lime Pie and the massive slices of cake for desert on the Islands. We went to this and another newer icecream shop. Hands down, this was better tasting and a one scoop is HUGE! more
The ice cream at Pinocchio's is great! My family and I really enjoyed this the great flavors here. The inside of Pinocchio's is quite small but there are many benches outside to sit on. The staff is friendly and the ice cream is wonderful so don't pass up Pinocchio's next time you are at Sanibel Island. more
This place is worth a trip to the southern part of the island. Please come hungry and don't worry about only ordering a small scoop. This place is like Heaven!! more
It's homemade and the owners claim it's really good. It is. Really good. The 'Sanibel Crunch' and 'Dirty Sandollar' are the cornerstones of a decent variety of flavours. The chocolate coated coconut in the 'Sanibel Crunch' is excellent. Bike there so you can wear it off on the way home. Portions are generous. Get a cup on a hot day... more
