Great grouper sandwiches!

This is a good bar and restaurant. We always order the grouper sandwich. It is huge and you get a good deal or the $. I have heard from some people visiting the island that the restaurant seems to cater to working the locals in before the people who have called in for reservations. A friend... read more

If you visit Sanibel make sure to eat at the Grill. It and Doc Fords are the best on the island. The staff are great. The owner who is in all the pictures with famous people comes in a lot. He is unfriendly and rude.

The Sanibel Grill is a fun place to have lunch or dinner. It is primarily a sports bar with numerous TV's throughout. We went for the Kentucky Derby and had a great time. Although it was crowded, the service did not suffer in the least. Our meals were served quickly and was very good. A great place to go to... More

This gem is busy because it's so darn good. From the crunchy shrimp and Grouper to crab bisque and burgers too, you will NOT go wrong here. Friendly staff and local environment brings you into one of the best on Sanibel Island. I'm torn by recommending our favorite hang out as we encourage even more people to come in. On... More

A 20 minute wait resulted in a sit down at the bar for a tasty martini and a couple of blue point and local oysters. The locals were a $ cheaper and every bit as good as the blue points and the bartender was great. Our wait staff said everything we asked about was the best so it was hard... More

Great place for a beverage, any sporting event and a large appetizer that could easily double as dinner! We asked for the happy hour specials and I had a great filet mignon quesidilla served with rice and black beans. My friend had a burger & yummy sweet potato fries(they looked overdone but tasted great). And if you still have room,... More

First night back on Sanibel had a early dinner in captive all excited to take a packer buddy of mine to watch football with my wife drink and order food later in game.. We started off with miss communication with a bad reception on cell phone which had nothing to do with them. They fixed the name when we got... More

We have been many times and will continue to return. The seafood baskets are great, I am fond of the fried oysters. The clam chowder is very good. The $6.00 burgers for Happy Hour 4p-5p are fantastic. Service always prompt and less than 10 min wait 2 nights ago.
