Authentic and fun

Willow Tree is one of my favorite eateries, hands down. The food is authentic German, with all offerings you'd expect - schnitzel, sauerkraut, etc. I highly recommend the chicken salad, which you can also buy in bulk from the new deli located behind the restaurant. The family that owns and runs... read more

Being Half German (German Mother) and growing up eating the food, Having spent 10 years living in various cities in Germany and Finally having a German Wife I consider myself a pretty good rater of the cuisine. The food was excellent. I had the Sauerbraten and it was too die for. Super tender with the perfect mix of ginger in... More

First time here & my friend and I will absolutely be back again. Corey, the bartender, was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was welcoming. A must is the cajun bratwurst with hot mustard and sauerkraut.

If you like German food, great beer and fun. This is a must stop in the Orlando/ Sanford area. Food is excellent, especially the Greman fare, which is most of the menu. The beer choices are outstanding ( I'm sure the wine options are good as well). During the dinner hours they have a two man band that entertains. They... More

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The beer list is great. The food is authentic, delicious, and a good variety. We loved the decor, and they have live music some nights. The patio is also dog friendly.

If you like good German food this is the place if your in central Florida. We went on a Saturday without reservations and were able to be seated right away as it was mid afternoon which is there slow time. Our drink order was taken right away and soon so was our food order. We all ordered something different and... More

Went expecting my German heritage wife's potato salad. NOTHING like it. Very sad. Noodles w/cheese weren't bad, but kind of tough. Had a weisswurst and a smoked brautwurst, but both seemed to contain little meat and lot of fillers, with very little seasonings and taste. I could only eat about half of it due to flavor and texture. Beer was... More

This is a great place to eat if you like German food. There's usually live music so it's pretty loud inside. There is outdoor seating if you want a slight quieter area. The prices are a little high but at least the food is good so you don't feel ripped off.

Stumbled upon this place on a Saturday afternoon and had no choice but to go in. Being German, I can honestly say that the food and beer are just about as authentic as you can get. Portions are pretty big (well, we German like to eat), so order accordingly. They have a huge selection of German beer and wine as... More

The Willow Tree Café boasts a vast array of German food including meatless and gluten-free options. The vegetarian spatzle (a hybrid of pasta and dumplings) was hearty and flavorful as were the potato pancakes. The detailed menu fully explains each dish and the staff is willing to customize orders. The couple next to us had sausages on pretzel buns and... More
