Good old fashioned burgers, chicken, ice cream, etc. Diner or malt-shop decor, deliciously unhealthy food. A great place for the kids and the best value in Baytowne Wharf.

The food was good, how can you go wrong with burgers and fries? However, we sat outside and our waitress disappeared for an hour. AN HOUR we waited for our burgers. Other servers wouldn't help us, they just offered to look for our server! It was ridiculous! It's average food, not worth the wait. But if you get a good... More

We were really wanting to like Hartell's. We are at the beach, we were in the mood for a great burger sort of place and when we came across Hartell's in the very cute Bayside Wharf Village (looks kinda like New Orleans meet Disneyland) we thought we'd found it. It's a very cute place with wonderful outside seating and some... More

Small portions and a bit too relaxed for me. We ordered to of their "specialties" as the server described them. I had perhaps the thinnest burger I have ever seen with to over cooked pieces of bacon and they forgot my cheese. My wife had chicken tenders which she said were also overcooked and very bland. For a family it... More

When a place sells 16 oz beers for 2 dollars you might think the food would be substandard but that is NOT the case at Hartells in Baytowne. We both had cheesburgers and beers and the beers were cold and the burgers were perfect. If you enjoy french fries then you'll definitely enjoys theirs.

Service was friendly and good. Burgers were nice size and juicy. Skinny skinny shoestring fries were the best!

Love hamburgers, hot dogs and low bear prices. 1950s style decor. Ice cream desserts are old fashoned and good.

Craving a cold one while watching a concert in the park - this is the place to go. Beer prices start at $1!!! Or grab an Ultra for $2.50. They also serve wine.

We decided on this restuarant because it wasn't crowded and we wanted to be served quickly since we have a toddler. The good - waiter was nice, service was lightning fast, large quantity of fries in the basket The so so - food was ok, hot but nothing to get excited about. However, we would go again for quick service.... More

Has to be the best cheeseburger and fries that we've had in a while! Service isn't great, but the burger was worth it if you're not in a hurry. Great place to take the family!
