Let me start by saying I have never written a review for any place. The service at this establishment was so horrible I felt it was necessary to warn the public. Friends have raved about how great the burgers, shakes and chicken tenders are this place. I can't really dispute that. The food was good. The service however was by... More

The only place at the village where a family of 4 can eat under 100.00 fun place and great atmosphere, the kids loved it. But if you are watching calories beware.

My husband and I went into Hartell's to drink some beer and get a quick snack. We ordered the fritos platter which were great. (Cheapest beer in the Baytowne hands down) We sat at the bar which was our only mistake. The bartender was very rude from the start and then continued to yell at another employee while we were... We wanted a quick meal with reasonable prices. Hartell's was a good place for both. My husband had a basic hamburger and I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. Both were very good. We would eat there again.

I've always experienced friendly service and enjoy the '50's' style atmosphere. The food is as it should be for a diner...hot dogs, burgers, fries, malts, shakes, and sundaes. We all had sundaes this visit. It was around $25 including tip, which was reasonable. Our loud kids really like the atmosphere and it's kind of a nice break from the surroundings.... More

Great chicken fingers, great shakes, great fries, good ice cream, good service. The inside is a little loud and we had big flies biting us outside. We ordered the $25.95 15 scoop kitchen sink dessert and it was disappointing. It was missing some of the toppings and the server didn't tell us beforehand. However, we will go back as the... More

So the hamburgers were rated #1 in Destin and they were truly yummy :) Perfect to bring kids but prepare to be full because you have to get milkshakes! Myrtles' Turtle was delish!

The food was fast and tasty. It didn't make as big a dent in my wallet compared to other restaurants in the area. This place is a definite "must go"!

My po-boy's bread had green mold on it. They had the gaul to act as if it were something off the grill and refused to comp it.
