I have been a frequenter of the old Cafe Alma in St. Pete and it was usually very busy so I was surprised when they announced their move to the beach. The news is that their food is still great and reasonably priced. The prix-fixe menu is affordable with generous portions . Half-price bottles of wine on tuesdays will be... More

Excellent food and wonderful atmosphere. We love the original Cafe Alma but this is still a great restaurant! The hostess who sat us, the bartender Tom and the waiter, Caleb were gracious, friendly and wonderful servers! We loved their happy attitudes and knowledge of the menu. The quality of food is top notch! Specifically the porkchops and seafood risotto! We... More

We had tried Café Alma when it was downtown St. Pete and liked it, especially the Tuesday appetizer specials. Now we are happy to see that it moved to Madeira Beach, closer to the beaches, closer to us! We were a party of five that arrived before 6PM and we warmly welcomed and seated quickly. Specials until 6:30 on the... More

So a group of friends and I (not from the area) stumbled upon this little gem by accident. when we walked up, the hostess asked if we had a reservation. When we said no, her response was, "Oh, great!". Not the usual reaction. Apparently it was only their 2nd night being open. The thing that really stuck out to me... More

Sorry to see them leave downtown - was always a local favorite. I'm sure the new digs will be great - much larger. Good luck Cafe Alma!!

We went on a weeknight, and they had great drink and appetizer specials as well as awesome live music. The food was great, and it was a cool vibe with the music and couch-booths. We will definitely be back.

This was my second time dining in Cafe Alma and have never had a bad experience here. The server Tyler was amazing and very knowledgeable about the menu. I love the atmosphere there and very cute on the inside. Their brunch is fantastic I recommend getting one of the poached egg meals or the French toast, to die for! Also... More

Went to lunch to Cafe Alma - had a club sandwich which turned out to be mediocre; I really expected more. The service was slow and there is no reason to return as St. Petersburg has many alternatives better than this restaurant.

I had never been here before after living in St. Pete for a long time. We were with a party of 5 on a Saturday night @ 7, and had gone to Red Mesa downtown with no reservation, but it was PACKED. an hour wait. We should have waited. Walked around the corner to Cafe Alma and it was empty.... More
