We ate often at Almas when they were downtown and were excited when they moved to Johns Pass which is much closer to us. We have now eaten there twice and have found the food to be the same high quality and the service excellent. I hope that more people will try them at the new location. Their specials of... More

Last winter, my wife and I visited their St. Pete downtown location and this became one of our favorite restaurants in the area. We visited at least 4 times. We returned to St. Pete this week and visited the new location. We read the recent reviews on Tripadvisor and had high expectations. We were so disappointed. We love tapas and... More

My husband and I loved our lunch of tapas and wine. The service was also excellent, and we got a lot of sightseeing tips from our server, Savie. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I chose to eat here on New Years Eve and it was amazing! He had been to their St. Pete location and was happy to see this location at John's Pass on Mad Beach. The herbed goat cheese appetizer is spectacular, the seafood risotto is so huge and delish, you can't finish it all! He had the... More

I loved Cafe Alma when they were downtown but now I actually enjoy going to their new location on John's Pass. The place is much bigger and the food is excellent as always. Their sangria (I prefer red) is fantastic. I think the cinnamon they sprinkle on top gives it a nice taste. My boyfriend and I usually order their... More

I did not enjoy this restaurant. It's in John's Pass - but the location has nothing special to offer. The food was really greasy & somewhat bland. The menu looks like they had good ideas, but nothing tastes like anyone is really trying in the kitchen. Service matched the food. I will try again in a month.

Visited Alma as we are very fond of tapas. The food was not the Spanish portion size (much larger) but excellent all the same. The papas Alma (potatoes) was very very good, spicy without being too hot and at 1/2 price was just brilliant. Wish we had found this place earlier in our holiday as we would have gone back... More
