Truly Tasty Food!

I'm from Southern California and it's been difficult to find good Mexican here and, though it pains me to say it because this place is more like kitschy cute Mexican, the food is soooo good. The tacos are fat with meat, something you don't normally see even in authentic Mexican places, and they... read more

I had lunch at Casita Taqueria last week. The restaurant is small and simple. The food is good and portions are respectable. Service is order at counter and they bring it out to you. Fountain sodas are self serve. They also offer Jarritos sodas by the bottle. I ordered 2 carnitas tacos. They are served with traditional toppings: onion, cilantro,... More

We live here year-round but had never before tried this eatery. The front outdoor eating area was packed so we figured the food must be good. We both ordered the Carnitas Tacos and beer. It's more like a café setting … ordered and paid for our food at the counter, seated ourselves, and our food was brought to the table.... More

I came across this taqueria by a chance and after placing my order, chose a seat in the shade, outside. I was impressed by the helpful and polite young staff, pleasant atmosphere, clean washrooms and the choice of dishes. I did not wait too long for my order, but when it arrived, it proved to be the only disappointing part of... More

reading the reviews we were looking forward to trying this Mexican restaurant. My wife being of Mexican decent was also looking forward to trying this place. When we arrived we weren't prepared of how the restaurant works. Basically you order at the counter, find a empty table and they bring it to you. Initially form what we could see the... More

Thanks for the review, we don't have any sweet suave sprinkles on our tacos but we do top them with cilantro and a sprinkle of love. We offer salsa and guacamole in 4 oz. portions like most other taquerias and would have been more than happy to serve you more upon request. Glad you loved the soup but sorry we... More

We have been to Casita a lot since they've been open in St. Pete- both the old 4th St location and now the Central location ( which is a really fun area of St. Pete). They are getting ready to open a new location on 4th. They have excellent food- tacos, bowls, salsa, hot sauce, etc. You can sit inside... More
