went here for lunch. love the outdoor area! very roomy outside covered porch with cushioned booths, ceiling fans, bar & tv. property is surrounded by beautiful trees & foliage so you feel you're in the country. its part of an old farmhouse so its got that simple charm. (and comfortable) had the house salad (no iceberg, real greens, tomatoes& cucs) &... More

The food was good; the service was good; the ambiance was pleasing; BUT they were flying flags of all nations as a decoration -- they couldn't find one single American flag for the Fourth of July? I found that offensive.

Dear Mary, Thank you for visiting Three Birds Tavern, and for taking the time to write. We are currently flying the flags of many nations in honor of World Cup, an event that is very popular amongst our guests. We proudly fly an American flag at our 4th Street entrance every day! You'll find it there next time you drive... More

Went with a large group and the servers seemed overwhelmed. Extremely slow and chaotic. The food was average, I've had better. But because of the lack of service minus a smile, I would recommend going somewhere else.

We were on our way to a Saturday afternoon baseball game, our initial choice for lunch was closed, when we remembered one of our sons suggesting Three Birds, so we decided to give it a shot. It was a warm, sticky summer afternoon so we chose to sit in the small dining room shared with the bar. Which is a... More

My husband got the pork belly hamburger with home fries and was well pleased. I got a salad which was fresh and good and the homeade dressing was awesome!

As hubby & I drove by on a Monday evening we passed here and thought it had an interesting character to it. So we decided to give it a try and liked it from the beginning. The atmosphere was of an older St. Petersburg home that had been renovated to a restaurant in a neighborhood with lots of mature trees,... More

If you are looking for a place with loud outdoor seating and a live band on the weekend, this is your place. If you are looking for something a bit more quiet with some uniqueness to the menu, try someplace else.

Lots of choices in St. Pete and we often come here. The creative chef usually has a delicious special. I love their soups, too. British looking but not British tasting! Everything on the menu is good.

While the food was very good, it is clear to many that there is some kind of arrangement between the restaurant / the business across the street and the tow company. We arrived when it was dark, there is very little parking so we parked in the vacant parking lot. The hostess watched us park 3 cars there and said... More

As usual, I'm going with 3.5 stars and rounding up. This is a nice pub. Food was good, service was good. I liked the set up with the large patio (though it was a cold night) and the Irish music the band was playing was pretty good, too, though to be honest, Irish music isn't exactly dinner music. We started... More
