This seems to be the "go to" place for the locals. We have been coming to FL for many years and this was a place we were taken for a "special" night (birthday, anniversary etc.) However, when we went on our own we found the prices did not match the food's quality.

There was a 20 minute wait for the "Early Bird specials" but got in under the wire (6pm). I had the fish special (fish lightly dipped and fried) and my husband had the 8oz New York Strip. The food here is just not good. It's bland, boring and soggy; looks like it was just slapped on the plate without a care. Waitstaff is generally very indifferent. However, the place is usually packed so I guess a lot of people like it. I just think there are a LOT of much better, more interesting places to choose from... More

Great food, excellent prices, relaxing atmosphere. The Cinnamon butter and Sweet Vadalia Onion Sauce are to die for. Two thumbs up!!

We visited the Cody's at 4360 Park St. N. Petersburg, Fl 33709. The Prime, Rib Eye, Ribs, and Fajitas were all outstanding. Even though the spring break crowd was big, wait time was minimum and service was excellent,

We ate here on a recommendation of a friend and were glad we did the food was excellent and the drink specials were great! We can't wait to go back soon.

Went with a group of eight this evening.....that was the only wrinkle....couldn't sit together. They have call ahead seating & we should have done that since they only have a couple of tables big enough for a group that size. But that speaks for itself. The food is good the atmosphere wonderful. The funny thing is he first time i ate there i wasn't impressed but have been back numerous times lately and the drink specials are great. The half price appetizers you get at the bar are awesome the 21 oz prime rib bone in is to die for

BUT who cares! they have great happy hour specials. The food, prices and service make it well worth the short wait you may have to get a seat.
