We have eaten here so many times in our lives; born and raised in St. Pete. It's a great time of year to eat and enjoy the outdoors. This is a place known for their awesome burgers. The dining is very nice; outside with large picnic tables, stage for a band, landscaping that has improved so much, you don't even... More

I went here on a date with hubby, as it came highly recommended by locals. We loved our food, although it was a little pricey for the small amount you get. All in all though, we would go back.

We LOVE the Chattaway! An open air restaurant not far from the water. The food is absolutely wonderful! There is a band, old bathtubs painted with Florida scenes, whimsical decorations, tea sets in a tiny boutique, the parking is good, the service is as great as the food. A favorite place of our whenever we are in St.Petersburg!

Built in an old gas station from the 1920's this place is just cool. The hamburgers are some of the best you can get, I like the WT Cole burger built best myself, Most of the seating is outside so it can be brutal for lunch in the dog days, but the rest of the year and at night it... More

A corner St. Pete landmark. Even though there is only a sidewalk between the restaurant and the street, it is a cute, private, shady setting. At one time is was a drive-in restaurant. A family owned and operated restaurant for many, many years. Unique gardens with bridge over a beautiful koi pond. A uniquely decorated small dining room inside too.... More

From someone who considers himself a roast beef aficionado, this was excellent! The bread underneath is toasted and has a healthy load of roast beef. This is a cash only establishment! Live music outside.

Well behaved dogs allowed! Family style seating or many other options. The service was fast and friendly the food was great. This place sits on a unlikely corner, but a walk over the koi pond bridge reveals a shady oasis. Bring your date or any size group to enjoy live music, great service and reasonable priced food at fair prices.

Talk about a casual eatery! Chattaway's definitely lives up to its reputation as a St Petersburg landmark:the burgers are terrific, the wait staff friendly and efficient, and the outdoor ambience of the main "dining room," (which consists primarily of shaded picnic tables) added to the relaxed experience. So whether you live in the area, or just visiting, take a trip... More

I grew up on the Southside of St. Pete, which oftens get a bad rep., but the Chattaway is a one-of-a-kind gem. It's been on the corner of 22nd Avenue for forever and is an old family business. The servers are quirky, the decor even stranger, but the food is a real treat. Some of the locals and frequent customers... More
